WVR Sengoku II Fights Announced

World Victory Road has announced fights for its upcoming Sengoku II event on May 18th, including the return to action of #3-ranked heavyweight "The Babyface Assassin" Josh Barnett, who will face a soon to be determined opponent.

Barnett, the former UFC Heavyweight Champion, last competed at WVR's Sengoku I event, where he submitted Japanese gold medallist in Judo and former PRIDE star, Hidehiko Yoshida, with a heel hook in the third round.

Barnett's opponent is rumoured to be former PRIDE contender and Judo silver medallist, Naoya Ogawa, or former UFC contender and five-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Champion, Mauricio "Pe de Pano" Cruz.

Previously announced bouts include:

Mike "Quicksand" Pyle vs Dan "The Handler" Hornbuckle
Yoshihiro "Kiss" Nakao vs "Big" Jim York
Jorge Santiago vs Yuki Sasaki
Satoru Kitaoka vs Ian Schaffa
Kwang Hee Lee vs Eiji Mitsuoka

In addition, heavyweight Roger Gracie is expected to compete at the event.
