Kailin Curran vs Jamie Moyle Targeted For TUF 24 Finale In Las VegasTwo of the strawweight division’s brightest female prospects will collide in a featured matchup on December 3rd at The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale in Las Vegas, Nevada. Hawaiian standout Kailin Curran battles former Invicta FC contender and recent TUF 23 contestant Jamie Moyle on the card.

KHON-TV in Hawaii first reported on plans for the fight this week. Curran finds herself in another potential must-win situation after suffering a quick submission loss to Felice “Lil’ Bulldog” Herrig at UFC on FOX 20. Moyle makes her official UFC debut following a solid showing on TUF 23.

Curran (4-3-0) brought an undefeated record into her Octagon debut in late 2014 and engaged in a thrilling, back-and-forth battle with fellow prospect “12 Gauge” Paige VanZant at UFC Fight Night 57. VanZant ultimately prevailed via third-round TKO, but Curran next appeared to be well on her way to a dominant win over Alex “Astro Girl” Chambers at UFC Fight Night 65 until Chambers rallied with a fight-ending armbar in the final round. At last, Curran had her hand raised in December when she submitted Emily Kagan at UFC Fight Night 80, but Herrig needed less than two minutes to finish Curran in July.

Moyle (3-1-0) captured Tuff-N-Uff title gold in June 2014 and turned pro for Invicta FC five months later. She won her first three fights for the promotion, including victories over fellow TUF 23 contestants J.J. Aldrich and Amy “The Resurrection” Cadwell Montenegro. After suffering her first pro loss at Invicta FC 14, Moyle joined the cast of TUF 23 and advanced through the elimination round by submitting Alyssa Krahn. Her run on the show ended in the quarterfinals when she dropped a narrow Majority Decision to eventual finalist Amanda Bobby “ABC” Cooper in one of the season’s best fights.

The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale takes place on December 3rd at The Pearl Concert Theatre at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
