TUF 20 semi-finalist Randa “Quiet Storm” Markos looks for her second straight victory when she competes on August 20th at UFC 202: “Diaz vs McGregor 2” in Las Vegas, Nevada. Markos is set to face off against Cortney “Cast Iron” Casey, who earned a quick TKO win this past month.

UFC officials announced the strawweight matchup today. Markos has alternated between wins and losses since the conclusion of TUF 20, and most recently defeated Jocelyn “Lights Out” Jones-Lybarger at UFC Fight Night 89. Casey stopped Cristina “Barbie” Stanciu at UFC Fight Night 91.

Markos (6-3-0) followed up on her solid TUF 20 run by immediately taking on some of the top female talent in the UFC’s women’s strawweight division. Her official UFC debut ended in a razor-thin Split Decision loss to former Invicta FC champion and fellow TUF 20 semi-finalist Jessica Penne, but Markos has since battled back with wins in two of her past three fights. Her lone defeat came in the form of a competitive decision loss to unbeaten UFC title contender Karolina Kowalkiewicz in December.

Casey (5-3-0) brought a three-fight winning streak into her UFC debut in July 2015, and nearly secured a quick stoppage victory against heavily-favoured opponent Joanne “JoJo” Calderwood, but Calderwood recovered and rallied as the fight progressed en route to a Unanimous Decision win. Casey suffered another close and action-packed decision loss in November when she was outpointed by former Deep Jewels champ Seo Hee Ham, but she rebounded in a big way by destroying Stanciu on July 13th.

UFC 202: “Diaz vs McGregor 2” takes place on August 20th at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event is headlined by a welterweight rematch between Nate Diaz and “The Notorious” Conor McGregor, and also features a women’s bantamweight bout between Raquel “Rocky” Pennington and Elizabeth Phillips.
