The eight-woman lineup for this year’s Shoot Boxing Girls S-Cup is now complete. J-Girls Korea champion Jiwaen Lee and Brazil’s Eduarda “Duda” Lima are the final two participants in the tournament, which takes place on August 2nd at Yamano Hall in the Yoyogi district of Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan.

Shoot Boxing officials announced the latest additions to the worldwide tournament today. Lee was set to face three-time Girls S-Cup winner Rena Kubota in December, but she withdrew from the bout on short notice. Lima makes her shoot boxing debut after an 18-fight amateur kickboxing career.

Lee (16-1-0 KB) captured the J-Girls Korea 50kg kickboxing title in October 2010 by defeating two opponents in one night and she is one of South Korea’s top female prospects. This past December, she had planned to challenge Kubota at a Shoot Boxing event in Osaka, but Lee was forced to withdraw from the event for undisclosed reasons. She now makes her shoot boxing debut in the sport’s biggest female tournament and may find herself matched up against Kubota once again.

Lima (15-3-0 amateur KB) is a graduate of the renowned Chute Boxe academy and, not surprisingly, she is known for her aggressive striking and knockout power. Eight of the Brazilian’s victories to date have come by knockout and she is a kickboxing tournament champion in her home country. Lima now turns pro for her shoot boxing debut next month and looks to become Brazil’s first Girls S-Cup champ by outlasting the rest of the tournament field.
