Multi-time boxing world champion Holly “The Preacher’s Daughter” Holm will look to keep her perfect professional MMA record intact when she faces Allanna “Hands of Stone” Jones at Legacy Fighting Championship 21. The event takes place on July 19th at Arena Theater in Houston, Texas.

MMAjunkie.com first reported on the bantamweight matchup today. Holm is coming off of a second-round TKO victory over Katie Merrill at Bellator 91 and she announced her retirement from boxing earlier this year in order to compete in MMA full-time. Jones looks to rebound from a loss at CFA 11.

Holm (3-0-0) amassed a 33-2-3 record in boxing that included close to two dozen world title victories. While still actively competing as a boxer, Holm made two appearances in MMA in 2011 and picked up stoppage wins over Christina “Machine Gun” Domke and Jan “Cuddles” Finney. She returned to MMA in February and finished an undersized Merrill in the second round of their Bellator 91 fight. Holm recently signed on with Legacy FC and she makes her promotional debut next month.

Jones (2-2-0) put together a stellar 8-2 record as an amateur before turning pro with a TKO victory in September. In her next fight, she suffered a third-round submission loss in a competitive bout against Canadian grappler Randa Markos Thomas. Jones contemplated dropping down to 125 pounds, but she instead moved up to 145 in order to compete in the inaugural CFA women’s featherweight tournament. She advanced to the semi-finals by defeating Kelsey De Santis in March, but lost to transgender fighter Fallon “The Queen of Swords” Fox this past month. Jones returns to 135 to face Holm.

Legacy Fighting Championship 21 takes place on July 19th at Arena Theater in Houston, Texas.
