Jessica “Evil” Eye’s journey to the top of the women’s flyweight rankings culminated with her biggest win to date at Bellator Fighting Championships 83 on December 7th. Eye choked out Zoila “The Warrior Princess” Gurgel in just 58 seconds and now takes over the number one spot at 125 pounds.
In a much-anticipated rematch, Cain Velasquez avenged the only loss of his pro career by dismantling Junior “Cigano” dos Santos to reclaim the UFC Heavyweight Championship at UFC 155. Velasquez now returns to the top spot in the heavyweight division, while dos Santos falls to number two.
Jessica Eye as #1 135 lber. seems fair.
Barb Honchak (who lost to her in an amateur fight, years ago) seems to be a good challenge! And let’s have her versus Rosi and Sheila Gaff as well!
Rob, Marloes beat Kaufmann, who is ranked as # 3, and lost to Miesha, who is ranked #6, pound-for-pound… shouldn’t she be ranked higher? She is # 1 in 145 lbs., and was # 1 in the 135 lbs. division.
I can’t believe she isn’t a top ten.
