Jessica Eye vs Justine Kish Planned For Ring Of Combat 34North American Allied Fight Series standout Jessica “Evil” Eye is expected to make her Ring of Combat debut against fellow prospect Justine Kish at ROC 34 on February 4, 2011. The bout, which has not yet been officially announced, will reportedly be contested between 125 and 130 pounds.

Eye, who has thus far spent her entire career in NAAFS and has yet to taste defeat, decisioned Marissa “Shorty” Caldwell in the main event of the all-female “Eve of Destruction” card in September. Kish won her pro debut earlier this month by upsetting Munah Holland at Ring of Combat 33.

Eye (2-0-0), who won all five of her amateur bouts before turning pro in June, is widely regarded as one of the top female prospects in the United States today. With solid skills in all areas of the game, Eye has demonstrated that she is comfortable wherever a fight goes and she is capable of battling through adversity. That was particularly evident in a 2008 bout with Barb “Little Warrior” Honchak, which Eye won via a razor-thin Split Decision. Now perfect as a professional and looking for new challenges, Eye will move up slightly in weight for her Ring of Combat debut.

Kish (1-0-0), though still relatively unknown, earned a pair of stoppage victories in amateur bouts before making her pro debut on December 3rd. Facing a respected striker in Team Tiger Schulmann prospect Munah Holland, Kish used an array of submission attempts before finally trapping Holland in a triangle choke midway through the second round. The impressive win earned Kish another fight in the promotion and she will face an even tougher opponent in her second ROC bout. Kish will put her unblemished record on the line in the fight with Eye and will drop down slightly from 130 pounds.

Ring of Combat 34 takes place on February 4, 2011 at the Tropicana Resort & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The bout between Eye and Kish, once officially announced, is expected to be held at a catchweight of 127 or 128 pounds.
