This one looks like fun - Good job on the interview with Mike Ciesnolevicz by the way Dan! It was a good read. I've been showing your articles to some of the guys I work out with and they all think this exercise will be too "easy" but they are more than eager to try out the keg lifts. *P.S. We were wondering how much that dumbell weighs in the pics :D*
Now I think we're off to polish off that keg ;)

That's a light dumb-bell in the picture, maybe 20lbs. I don't use the weight I work out with when I'm completing these demonstrations. Generally I would use 75lbs or so if I was doing for higher repetitions and around 100lbs for general strength training. It's harder than you think. I actually only have dumbbells in my home up to 45lbs, so I am unable to do this lift in my garage (for strength at least).
I personally LOVE these for extended conditioning. Using a 35lb or 45lb dumbbell and mixing them in to a circuit. When you do a 5 minute circuit of very taxing exercises, this can have one helluva influence on you.
Expect a lot of articles coming up! Tonight we should be releasing a UFC 80 prediction thread, I'm putting up an exercise tutorial on Plyometric Press-Ups with the use of a Medicine Ball, and we've got a few surprises as far as interviews coming up!
I'll try and get some Keg lifts again in the upcoming weeks.

I was trying this out a bit at the gym with 45 to try and start and it was good once you get it going. Might try to match your strength training weight next time! Good idea with the circuit training, I never would have thought of throwing something like this into one. The circuits we usually train have a lot of body weight resistance stuff like dips between two objects and such. There really isn't much we incorporate with actual weights. Sort of like the things you might see here:

Then there is of course the jump-rope and such added in there with that sort of stuff. Some stability ball-type exercises too, circuits really depend a lot on the gym space we can get too. We don't always get access to use the full thing, but since it's a huge military gym that we commonly use and many of the guys I work out with are military members, we get our "fair" share.
Thank god for a medicine ball article, I use 'em a lot! Anyhow, I'm just trying to give feedback and let you know that these articles are at least helping some people try new things and make progress, and I'm really trying to spread these things around to all of the people I can because it's quality stuff if you're dedicated to it.
P.S. I bought a new blender, any good recipes from anyone? Nothin' beats chuggin' wild berries in the morning :D
