Matt Serra & Other fighters!

This man is my hero :D

I gotta admit, I have a thing for his personality. I don't by any means regard him as the best fighter in his weight class or anything, but I'm real proud of him for bringing his A-game to the GSP fight and I hope he does well with TUF/Fighting Matt Hughes because much like my man Serra, I also see Matt Hughes as an arrogant guy (though I respect Matt Hughes as a fighter.)

Other fighters that I don't like just because they are incredible/title holders would be fighters like BJ Penn and even recently Paul Buentello has grown on me after watching some of his fights. Micheal Bisping is doing pretty well and he seems like a good chap. Rampage is great to watch and his interviews are incredible. Most of these guys are just UFC fighters, and this list would be a whole lot bigger if I went into other organizations I guess. Just a short list of fighters I've grown to like in the past little while.

Any other fighters that you guys respect out there? Ones that aren't Cro-Cop and Fedor or Chuck and Couture (or other UFC poster boys?)

I actually was really disgusted by the Bisping/Hamil fight, but thats old news. I'm far from an authority on the subject, but as a casual viewer I felt that Bisping did not win. I would have liked to see more Hamil instead, but ce'st la vie.

I really like Joe Stevenson. I know hes not the best out there and there are probably guys who would make quick work of him, but his ~30 second Guillotine on Guillard was nice, and I generally just like watching guys who take control of the fight like he does once his opponent is down. I'm really hoping Sean Sherk turns out to be innocent, because I liked watching him fight. I know a lot of people find him a bit boring, but I just hate watching fights where the fighters get gassed out and you just know that wouldn't happen with Sherk. I also like McDonald, though I have only seen couple fights with him. I thought that awkward guillotine he got on Lebel at UFC 66 was pretty impressive.

I'm only just starting to watch stuff that isn't UFC so I won't really go into who I like outside of UFC.
