Since female mixed martial arts receives extremely little attention in North America, aside from Gina Carano in EliteXC (and on American Gladiators), and the female fights on event cards frequently receive Fight of the Night honours, I have compiled a list of most of the top female fighters today.
This includes the champions of various promotions, the contenders and the wildcards, with fight history and descriptions included.
