Guram “The Georgian Viking” Kutateladze vs Mateusz “Gamer” Gamrot

Round 1:
Kutateladze opened the action with a body kick and Gamrot responded with an ankle pick takedown soon after. Kutateladze attempted an armbar and a heel hook from the bottom as Gamrot struck with hammerfists. Gamrot dropped back with a heel hook attempt of his own and Kutateladze used the opportunity to get back to his feet. He landed a body kick and Gamrot replied with a one-two. Kutateladze landed two punches and another body kick, then followed with a kick to Gamrot’s lead leg. Time was called very briefly after Gamrot dropped levels and Kutateladze landed an inadvertent illegal knee while Gamrot was down. Action continued and Kutateladze pressed forward with punches until the bell. 10-9 Kutateladze.

Round 2:
Kutateladze dropped Gamrot with an overhand right to begin the second round, but Gamrot quickly recovered and returned to his feet. He shot in for a takedown and Kutateladze stuffed it against the cage. Gamrot ducked under a head kick attempt and both men landed one-twos. Gamrot took Kutateladze momentarily, but Kutateladze quickly stood and he landed kicks to Gamrot’s lead leg and body. Gamrot caught one of the kicks and he took Kutateladze down, but Kutateladze swiftly transitioned to an omoplata attempt. Gamrot punched his way free and the fight returned to the feet. Gamrot landed a lunging one-two, then tried for a takedown and finished the round with a right hook. 10-9 Kutateladze.

Round 3:
Gamrot shot in for a takedown to begin round three, but Kutateladze stuffed it and the fighters traded strikes on the feet. Kutateladze landed leg kicks and Gamrot took him down. Kutateladze returned to his feet and both men landed two-punch combos. Gamrot took Kutateladze down and Kutateladze stood back up almost immediately. A hard one-two landed for Kutateladze and Gamrot responded with a takedown. The round ended with Gamrot landing hammerfists from the top. 10-9 Gamrot.

Winner: Guram Kutateladze by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 12-2-0.

 

Gillian “The Savage” Robertson vs Poliana Botelho

Round 1:
Robertson immediately shot in for a takedown in the opening seconds and Botelho stuffed it. She clinched with Robertson against the cage and landed short knees and elbows until Robertson broke free. Botelho landed a hard leg kick and she followed with a kick to the body soon after. Roberts grabbed on to Botelho’s left leg and attempted a takedown, but she was once again thwarted. Botelho attacked Robertson’s body with a kick and a knee as the round entered its final minute. Robertson finally took her down and she threw knees to Botelho’s body from half-guard. Close opening round. 10-9 Botelho.

Round 2:
Botelho opened the second round with kicks to Robertson’s leg and body, but Robertson caught the second kick and she tripped Botelho to the mat. Robertson landed short elbows and forearm strikes before moving to side control. She mounted Botelho and landed elbows and punches while preventing Botelho from scrambling. More elbows scored for Robertson late in the round and Botelho’s right eye began to swell up considerably. 10-9 Robertson. Could be a 10-8.

Round 3:
Robertson quickly took Botelho down to begin round three and she used hammerfists to set up another move to mount. Robertson landed elbows and hammerfists as she looked to set up an armbar from a high mount. Botelho avoided submission attempts, but Robertson continued to batter her with elbows and hammerfists. Shortly before the end of the round, Botelho gave up her back and Robertson worked for a rear-naked choke until the bell. 10-8 Robertson.

Winner: Gillian Robertson by Unanimous Decision (29-27, 29-27, 29-28) after three rounds. She improves to 9-4-0.

 

Jun Yong “The Iron Turtle” Park vs John “The Welsh Wrecking Machine” Phillips

Round 1:
The fighters circled each other throughout the opening minute until Park shot in and took Phillips down near the base of the cage. He landed punches from the top and took Phillips’s back. Park continued to pepper Phillips with punches as he hunted for a rear-naked choke. Phillips defended and Park blasted him with hammerfists. Park maintained back control and sat up against the cage in the final seconds as he continued to use hammerfists to set up choke attempts. 10-9 Park.

Round 2:
Park took the fight to the ground again in the second round and he landed numerous hammerfists from back control. Phillips finally tried to scramble up and Park kept him trapped in place. Park maintained back control and continued to land hammerfists all the way until the bell as Phillips was unable to do anything. 10-8 Park due to complete control despite the lack of significant damage.

Round 3:
The final round began with an exchange of power punches and Phillips landed a hard right hand. Park responded with a takedown and he struck from the top in Phillips’s guard. This continued until Park looked for a top-side guillotine choke and he took Phillips’s back soon after. Phillips spun late in the round and Park landed punches from the top in half-guard until the end of the fight. 10-9 Park.

Winner: Jun Yong Park by Unanimous Decision (30-25, 30-25, 30-25) after three rounds. He improves to 12-4-0.

 

Fares “Smile Killer” Ziam vs Jamie Mullarkey

Round 1:
Mullarkey landed an overhand right early on and he took Ziam down after catching a kick. Ziam impressively swept from the bottom and he postured up with punches before briefly looking for a power guillotine choke. The fighters stood and Ziam landed a hard kick to Mullarkey’s lead leg, which immediately displayed a red welt. Ziam landed an overhand right and he avoided a clinch attempt from Mullarkey. The fighters traded leg kicks and Ziam followed with a lead left hook. Mullarkey landed two leg kicks and Ziam shot in for a takedown. He dragged Mullarkey down and took his back as Mullarkey stood up. Ziam slammed him down once more and Mullarkey rose to his feet again. He tried for a takedown in the final seconds and Ziam reversed it. 10-9 Ziam.

Round 2:
The second round began with Mullarkey landing a right hook and he remained the aggressor as Ziam circled to his left. Ziam landed a leg kick and Mullarkey responded with an overhand right. The fighters traded leg kicks and Mullarkey worked for a takedown after grabbing Ziam’s leg. Ziam stayed on his feet and he landed a nice knee to Mullarkey’s face in a clinch. Mullarkey finally got Ziam down and he tried to pass to mount, but Ziam exploded up to his feet. Mullarkey scored a second takedown and he struck from the top in Ziam’s half-guard. Ziam gave up his back in the final seconds and he scrambled up, but fell while attempting a hip toss throw. 10-9 Mullarkey.

Round 3:
Both fighters looked for takedowns early in the final round and it was Mullarkey who ultimately got Ziam down against the base of the cage. Ziam attempted a kimura from the bottom and he got back to his feet soon after. Ziam landed a hard elbow to the temple of Mullarkey, who took Ziam down into side control. Ziam battled back to half-guard, but Mullarkey passed to the side again and then to mount. Ziam scrambled free and he took Mullarkey’s back. He landed punches to the side of Mullarkey’s head until the end of the close fight. 10-9 Ziam, barely, due to the late rally.

Winner: Fares Ziam by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 11-3-0.

 

Maxim “Maximus” Grishin vs Gadzhimurad Antigulov

Round 1:
After an uneventful opening 90 seconds, Antigulov clinched with Grishin against the cage and he threw occasional knees to the body until Grishin broke free and circled away. Antigulov missed with a lead left hook and he initiated another clinch. Grishin pushed him back and attacked with a hard leg kick that caused Antigulov to briefly stumble. In the final 30 seconds, Antigulov jabbed and Grishin responded with two leg kicks. 10-10.

Round 2:
Antigulov took Grishin’s back and got him down to a knee against the cage in the second round. Grishin threw back elbow strikes to counter and Antigulov responded with knees to the back of his thigh. Grishin turned into the clinch and Antigulov secured a takedown. Grishin scrambled up and he landed short right hands as Antigulov stood against the cage. Antigulov tried to pull guard with a guillotine choke, but Grishin escaped and he mounted Antigulov in the process. Grishin landed numerous punches and elbows until Antigulov kicked off of the cage and escaped out the back. The fight returned to the feet and Antigulov landed a hard right hand. Grishin flurried to the body and head late in the round and Antigulov covered up against the cage. He did not appear to be hurt, but the referee waved off the fight just before the bell.

Winner: Maxim Grishin by TKO (Punches) at 4:58 of round two. He improves to 31-8-2.

 

Said Nurmagomedov vs Mark “Mugen” Striegl

Round 1:
Nurmagomedov landed a quick leg kick, left cross combo early in the fight. Striegl pressed forward with looping punches and Nurmagomedov stunned him with a counter left hook. Striegl grabbed on to Nurmagoedov’s leg and Nurmagomedov unloaded with right hands. Striegl fell to his back and Nurmagomedov stood over him while landing a series of punches until Striegl was out cold. Impressive performance from Nurmagomedov.

Winner: Said Nurmagomedov by KO (Punches) at 0:51 of round one. He improves to 14-2-0.
