David “The Undertaker” Dvořák vs Jordan Espinosa

Round 1:
Dvořák opened the fight with two chopping leg kicks and Espinosa responded with a hard right hand. Dvořák knocked him down with another leg kick and Espinosa switched stances momentarily. As soon as Espinosa returned to a conventional stance, Dvořák attacked his lead leg again. Espinosa connected with another powerful right hand abd Dvořák landed a pair of three-punch combos. He followed with another leg kick and Espinosa responded with a one-two. Both men landed leg kicks and Espinosa followed with a lead left hook. Close round. 10-9 Dvořák.

Round 2:
Dvořák attacked with another hard leg kick to begin the second round and Espinosa winced as he switched stances. Espinosa landed two knees to the body in close and Dvořák responded with one more leg kick. Both men landed left-right combos and Espinosa followed with a step-in right cross. Dvořák mixed up his strikes with overhand rights and leg kicks, then flurried with punches before Espinosa circled away. A quick one-two landed for Dvořák and he knocked Espinosa off-balance with a leg kick. In the final seconds, Dvořák landed three more leg kicks following an exchange of right hands. 10-9 Dvořák.

Round 3:
Espinosa threw side kicks to Dvořák’s lead leg to open the final round, which led to an exchange of punches in close. Dvořák backed away and scored with a leg kick. He countered a knee from Espinosa with an overhand right. Dvořák hurt Espinosa with a leg kick and he began to target Espinosa’s right leg when Espinosa switched stances again. Both men landed left-right combos and Dvořák nearly dropped Espinosa with a leg kick. He charged in with punches and Espinosa landed a counter uppercut. The fighters separated and Dvořák countered each of Espinosa’s strikes with leg kicks. Espinosa could barely put any weight on his left leg, but he landed two hard right hands in the final 30 seconds. 10-9 Dvořák.

Winner: David Dvořák by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 19-3-0.

 

Damon “The Leech” Jackson vs Mirsad Bektic

Round 1:
Bektic slammed Jackson down to the mat in the opening seconds and he took Jackson’s back as Jackson stood up. Bektic threw him down again and avoided a guillotine choke attempt. Time was called and Bektic was warned for a punch to the back of Jackson’s head. Action resumed on the feet and Jackson countered a takedown with another guillotine choke. Bektic freed himself and a scramble followed. Jackson attacked with a kimura from the bottom that was deep, but Bektic spun free and escaped into back control as he peppered Jackson with numerous punches to the sides of his head. Hard hammerfists scored for Bektic late in the round. 10-9 Bektic.

Round 2:
The second round began with another takedown from Bektic and Jackson once again countered with a tight guillotine choke. Bektic stayed calm and eventually worked his way free. He took Jackson’s back and looked to set up an arm-triangle choke from the side. Jackson stood and Bektic landed short right hands. He took Jackson back down and Jackson worked for another kimura. Bektic took his back once more and Jackson turned into his guard. The fighters stood and Bektic jumped into an arm-in guillotine choke. Jackson climbed up the cage with his legs in order to alleviate pressure, and he wound up on top landing hammerfists to the side of Bektic’s head at the bell. 10-9 Bektic.

Round 3:
Bektic shot in for a takedown in the opening minute of round three and he once again put himself in a guillotine choke as the fight hit the mat. Jackson used the choke to sweep into mount position and he wrenched back on Bektic’s neck. Bektic held on initially, but Jackson tightened the guillotine choke even more and Bektic tapped out.

Winner: Damon Jackson by Submission (Guillotine Choke) at 1:21 of round three. He improves to 18-3-1, 1 NC.

 

Mayra “Sheetara” Bueno Silva vs Mara “Maravilla” Romero Borella

Round 1:
Silva opened the action with a leg kick and Borella responded with a hard right hand. She took Silva down and punched from the top as Silva worked to set up an armbar and then a triangle choke from the bottom. Borella made no effort to try to escape from the position as she threw hammerfists from the top and Silva switched back to a tight armbar, forcing Borella to tap out immediately.

Winner: Mayra Bueno Silva by Submission (Armbar) at 2:29 of round one. She improves to 7-1-0.

 

Jessica-Rose “Jessy Jess” Clark vs Sarah “Too Sweet” Alpar

Round 1:
Clark countered an early leg kick from Alpar with a hard right hand and she followed with two quick combinations. Alpar shot in for a takedown, but she could not keep Clark down for long. The fighters battled in a clinch against the cage and Alpar worked for another takedown as Clark countered with elbows and a guillotine choke. Alpar got her down to her knees and Clark landed another elbow. She stood back up and stunned Alpar with slashing elbows, then took her back. Alpar countered with a kimura attempt, but Clark pulled her arm free as the fight hit the ground and she took top position in Alpar’s half-guard. Clark passed to side control before the bell. 10-9 Clark.

Round 2:
Alpar clinched and backed Clark up against the cage to begin the second round. She briefly got Clark down, but Clark stood and landed a hard knee to the body. She threw more knees to Alpar’s thigh and broke free from the clinch with an elbow to her face. Clark landed a combination and Alpar tied her up in another clinch. Clark broke free again and both women landed body kicks. Alpar clinched and tried to sweep out Clark’s leg. Clark countered with elbows and hammerfists to the side of her head and took Alpar’s back as the fighters stood back up. Two knees landed for Clark and she sprawled out of an Alpar takedown attempt. She threw knees to Alpar’s body and punches to the side of her head from back control. 10-9 Clark.

Round 3:
Clark fought off a takedown attempt to begin the final round and she landed elbows to the side of Alpar’s head. Clark stood and landed elbows and knees. She landed a brutal knee that crushed Alpar’s nose just as Alpar tried to sit against the base of the cage. Alpar was not down when the knee landed and the fight appeared to be over as referee Chris Tognoni called for a timeout. The doctor checked on Alpar’s bloody nose and Alpar indicated that she could continue, but the fight should have been over and a TKO victory for Clark. Instead, the fight continued and Clark landed a combination as a badly bloodied Alpar tried desperately for a takedown. Clark battered her with strikes from back control, then stood up and landed two more knees until the fight was finally stopped.

Winner: Jessica-Rose Clark by TKO (Knees) at 4:21 of round three. She improves to 10-6-0, 1 NC.

 

Darrick Minner vs T.J. “The Truth” Laramie

Round 1:
Hard right hands were exchanged right away and Minner followed with knees and punches to the body in a clinch against the cage. He grabbed on to Laramie’s neck and pulled guard with a tight guillotine choke. Laramie held on briefly before tapping out.

Winner: Darrick Minner by Submission (Guillotine Choke) at 0:52 of round one. He improves to 25-11-0.

 

Randy “The Zohan” Costa vs Journey Newson

Round 1:
After a brief exchange of jabs, Costa landed a brutal head kick that sent Newsom crashing to the mat against the base of the cage. Costa landed two punches on the ground before the fight could be waved off, but Newsom was already done after the kick.

Winner: Randy Costa by KO (Head Kick) at 0:41 of round one. He improves to 6-1-0.

 

Andre “Mr. Highlight” Ewell vs Irwin “The Beast” Rivera

Round 1:
Ewell opened the action with a straight left hand and Rivera responded with one of his own. He followed with a head kick as Ewell darted in with one-twos, but Ewell backed him up with more two-punch combos and a hard overhand left. Another left cross scored for Ewell and he fought off two takedown attempts. He began to attack Rivera’s body with punches and Rivera responded with a nice jab-cross combo of his own. He followed with a jumping knee and shot in for a takedown, but Ewell stuffed it and transitioned to Rivera’s back. Rivera turned into Ewell’s guard and landed short elbows until the bell. 10-9 Ewell.

Round 2:
Rivera landed a lead right hook and grazed with a jumping knee to begin the second round. Both men landed combinations and the pace began to slow somewhat as they exchanged single left hooks. Rivera landed a hard leg kick and Ewell rushed forward with four punches that backed him up. Rivera flurried to the body soon after and Ewell responded with an overhand left. He followed with more quick punches until Rivera fired back with two lead right hooks and a head kick. Close round. 10-9 Ewell.

Round 3:
The final round began with Rivera landing a head kick and both fighters connected with three-punch combos. Ewell pressed the action with combinations and he backed Rivera up with a flurry to the body and head. Rivera countered with two looping hooks as he circled away, but Ewell kept the pressure on with a knee to the face and a left cross. Both men landed one-twos and Ewell stuffed a takedown attempt. He continued to land jab-cross combos as Rivera looked for a knockout blow. A hard left hand from Rivera set off an exchange of big power punches and Rivera secured a takedown. He landed elbows from the top in Ewell’s half-guard until time expired. Another close round. 10-9 Rivera.

Winner: Andrew Ewell by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 17-6-0.

 

Tyson Nam vs Jerome “The Renegade” Rivera

Round 1:
Rivera struck from a distance with leg kicks and jab-cross combos throughout the opening two minutes as Nam walked him down and looked to land big right hands. Rivera continued to land leg kicks and Nam connected with two hard right hooks. Rivera threw a knee and Nam responded with another right hook. Rivera grazed with a spinning back elbow and Nam flurried to the body late in the close round. 10-9 Nam by a slim margin due to the late damage.

Round 2:
Nam floored Rivera with a counter right cross as Rivera threw a leg kick early in the second round. As Rivera tried to recover on the ground, Nam blasted him with punches from the top. Rivera covered up and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Tyson Nam by TKO (Punches) at 0:34 of round two. He improves to 20-11-1.
