Amanda Lemos vs Mizuki Inoue

Round 1:
After an early exchange of punches, Inoue jabbed her way into a clinch and she kept Lemos pinned against the cage. Inoue landed a quick combination and Lemos responded with a big flurry in return. She scored with a body kick and dropped Inoue with a right hook. Lemos dove in with punches and hammerfists from the top. She switched to elbows and Inoue countered with an armbar setup. Lemos pulled her arm out and stood up, and she allowed Inoue to follow. Lemos threw a head kick that was partially blocked and Inoue initiated another clinch. Lemos threw her to the mat just before the bell. 10-9 Lemos.

Round 2:
Inoue closed the distance again in the second round and she held Lemos against the cage while landing short right hands to her face. Two standing elbows scored for Inoue and she followed with punches to the body. Lemos countered with a Thai clinch and she landed knees and elbows. Inoue tripped Lemos, but Lemos returned to her feet and dumped Inoue to the mat. She postured up with elbows while avoiding Inoue’s attempts to set up an armbar. Inoue scrambled up to her feet with 40 seconds remaining and Lemos landed a kick-punch combo. Inoue held her against the cage and landed short strikes until time expired. Close second round. 10-9 Lemos.

Round 3:
The final round began with Inoue once again holding Lemos against the fence while pursuing a takedown. Lemos broke free and partially landed a head kick. Inoue answered with a one-two and Lemos landed a knee to the body as the fighters clinched again. After a separation, quick punches were exchanged and Lemos landed two right hands. She followed with left-right combos and opened a cut near Inoue’s left eye. Inoue punched to the head and body as Lemos trapped her in a Thai clinch. Lemos landed a knee and a hard one-two on the break, then circled away. She just missed with a spinning back elbow and threw two more right hands late in the fight. Another close round. 10-9 Lemos.

Winner: Amanda Lemos by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. She improves to 8-1-1.

 

Jordan “The Beverly Hills Ninja” Wright vs Isaac “Hurricane Ike” Villanueva

Round 1:
Wright dropped Villanueva with a spinning wheel kick to begin the fight and he swarmed on him with knees and elbows after Villanueva returned to his feet. Villanueva began to bleed from a cut near his right eye, but he landed knees of his own in the clinch. Time was called to check on Villanueva’s cut, which was a large gash just above his right eye. The doctor quickly waved off the fight due to the severity of the cut.

Winner: Jordan Wright by TKO (Doctor Stoppage – Cut) at 1:31 of round one. He improves to 11-0-0, 1 NC.

 

Matthew “Semi The Jedi” Semelsberger vs “Clutch” Carlton Minus

Round 1:
Right hooks were exchanged early in the fight and Semelsberger landed a leg kick. He followed with a flurry of punches to the body as Minus circled away. Hard right hands landed for both men and Semelsberger began to bleed from a cut below his left eye. He landed a nice flurry and followed with a head kick. Minus continued to back up and Semelsberger landed another head kick. Both men landed leg kicks and Semelsberger followed with a quick flurry. In the final 30 seconds, Semelsberger landed body kicks from a southpaw stance. 10-9 Semelsberger.

Round 2:
The second round began with an exchange of quick punches and Semelsberger attacked Minus’s lead leg with kicks. Semelsberger mixed up his strikes with more leg kicks and one-two combinations. He dropped Minus with a counter right hook and took his back on the ground. Semelsberger tried for a rear-naked choke and Minus defended. With one minute to go, Minus scrambled up to his feet and the fighters traded punches before the bell. 10-9 Semelsberger.

Round 3:
Minus opened the final round with a body kick and overhand rights as he picked up the pace with his striking. Semelsberger fired back with a looping left hook and a head kick, but he lost his balance and fell. Semelsberger returned to his feet and he landed a left hook to the liver. Seconds later, Semelsberger ducked under a jab and took Minus down. He held back control, but Minus escaped to his feet and broke free from a clinch. Semelsberger threw a head kick and he followed with a hard right uppercut. Late in the fight, Semelsberger landed a combination and a hard leg kick. The fighters traded power punches until the final bell. 10-9 Semelsberger.

Winner: Matthew Semelsberger by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 7-2-0.

 

Trevin “5 Star” Jones vs “Lucky” Timur Valiev

Round 1:
Jones walked Valiev down early on and ate kicks to the body. More kicks were exchanged in the ensuing minute and Valiev landed a spinning wheel kick. Valiev continued to throw kicks and he hurt Jones with a hook to the body. More body punches and kicks scored for Valiev, as well as a head kick. He continued to attack Jones with strikes until Jones finally secured a takedown, which allowed him to buy time to recover until the bell. 10-8 Valiev.

Round 2:
The fighters traded kicks in the second round and Valiev attacked the body. This continued until Jones landed a huge right hand that floored Valiev. He followed with punches from the top as a badly dazed Valiev held on and referee Chris Tognoni stopped the fight. Huge comeback for Jones.

Winner: Trevin Jones by TKO (Punches) at 1:59 of round two. He improves to 13-6-0.
