Vinc “From Hell” Pichel vs Jim “A-10” Miller

Round 1:
The fighters traded leg kicks early in the fight and Miller finished a punching combination with a kick that struck Pichel in the groin. Time was called momentarily, but action resumed and a clinch ensued against the cage. Miller landed short elbows over the top and a knee to the body, but he was unable to take Pichel down. Pichel broke free from the clinch and Miller landed an overhand left. He caught a kick and took Pichel down into back control. Miller tried for a rear-naked choke and then switched to a guillotine choke from the top. In a scramble before the bell, Miller rolled into a calf slicer attempt, but Pichel defended well. 10-9 Miller.

Round 2:
Miller immediately took Pichel down in round two and he punched to the body while pinning Pichel against the base of the cage. Miller postured up with punches, but Pichel kicked him off and stood up. He avoided a Miller guillotine choke by taking Miller down. Miller looked to set up an omoplata and Pichel moved to side control in the process. Miller attacked with a heel hook attempt and Pichel dropped elbows from the top. From Miller’s half-guard, Pichel landed more short punches and he looked for an arm-triangle choke. With seconds to go, Pichel postured up with hard punches until the bell. 10-9 Pichel.

Round 3:
Pichel scored a takedown to begin round three and he looked for a kimura from the top. Miller escaped and Pichel landed knees to the body after passing to side control. He used short punches to set up a move to back control, but Miller spun free and he tried for a guillotine choke in a scramble. Miller wound up on top in half-guard and he briefly took Pichel’s back. Pichel rolled backward, shook Miller off of his back and secured back control himself. The fighters rose to their feet and Pichel landed short elbows and a knee. He followed with another knee and Miller backed up. More knees landed for Pichel and he followed with a head kick, but Miller jumped guard with a tight guillotine choke. Pichel managed to pull his head out and he finished the round with punches from the top. 10-9 Pichel.

Winner: Vinc Pichel by Unanimous Decision (29-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 13-2-0.

 

Virna “Carcará” Jandiroba vs Felice “Lil’ Bulldog” Herrig

Round 1:
Jandiroba took Herrig down right away and she prevented Herrig from getting back to her feet against the cage. Jandiroba briefly looked for a rear-naked choke and then took mount position. She quickly spun into an armbar on Herrig’s left arm. Herrig initially defended but tapped out after Jandiroba adjusted her grip.

Winner: Virna Jandiroba by Submission (Armbar) at 1:44 of round one. She improves to 16-1-0.

 

Danny “The Colombian Warrior” Chavez vs “Downtown” T.J. Brown

Round 1:
Brown struck first with leg kicks and Chavez countered with a combination and a hard kick of his own. The fighters traded more kicks and Chavez countered a clinch attempt with a lead left hook. He followed with another kick to Brown’s lead leg and Brown switched stances momentarily. Chavez dropped him with a calf kick and Brown remained in the southpaw stance after getting back to his feet. In the final minute, Brown countered a leg kick with a hard right uppercut. Chavez attacked his leg again and Brown tried unsuccessfully for a takedown. Brown landed a body kick late in the round. 10-9 Chavez.

Round 2:
Chavez continued to attack Brown’s lead leg with kicks in the second round and Brown began to limp. He landed a body kick and a knee from a southpaw stance, then followed with a straight left hand. Brown scored with a combination, but Chavez dropped him with two right hands and he followed with more punches on the ground. Brown recovered and he scrambled up to his feet soon after. Brown threw body kicks and missed with a spinning backfist before the bell. 10-9 Chavez.

Round 3:
Chavez landed a right hook to the body and fought off a takedown attempt in the final round. He scored with another powerful leg kick and blocked a head kick from Brown. Both men landed looping punches and Chavez stuffed a takedown. Brown landed a one-two and a leg kick as he pressed forward and he followed with another flurry as Chavez slowed down. Brown clinched and he landed elbows over the top until Chavez tripped him to the mat. Brown countered with elbows and rose to his feet, but Chavez tripped him again. He landed two knees to the body and suplexed Brown down to the mat again. Close final round. 10-9 Brown.

Winner: Danny Chavez by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 11-3-0.

 

Livia Renata “The Brazilian Gangster” Souza vs Ashley “The Spider Monkey” Yoder

Round 1:
Yoder landed two leg kicks and jumped on to Souza’s back in the opening seconds. Souza shook her off and took top position on the ground in Yoder’s guard. She postured up and landed a big right hand to Yoder’s face, but Yoder was unfazed and she got back to her feet. Yoder landed a body kick and Souza responded with a sweeping kick to her lead leg. She followed with right hands and Yoder countered with two body kicks. She stuffed a takedown attempt and briefly trapped Souza in a standing guillotine choke. Yoder worked for a takedown in the final minute, but Souza defended. On the break, Yoder landed a front kick to the face. She sprawled out of a Souza takedown attempt and took her back, then landed left hands until the bell. Very close round. 10-9 Yoder, barely.

Round 2:
The second round began with an exchange of kicks and Yoder held Souza against the fence. Both women landed knees to the body and Souza circled free. She landed an overhand right and Yoder replied with straight left hands. Yoder clinched once more and Souza continued to defend against her takedown attempts. Souza scored with knees in close and broke free from the clinch. Yoder countered a missed right hook by hopping on Souza’s back and she transitioned to an armbar attempt on the ground. Souza easily escaped and stood up, and she got Yoder down to a knee as the round ended. Another close round. 10-9 Souza.

Round 3:
The final round began with an exchange of leg kicks and Souza tried to drag Yoder down to the mat. Yoder defended and Souza landed a looping one-two on the break. Yoder countered a leg kick from Souza with a straight left hand and a combination. Time was called momentarily after Yoder was struck in the groin, but action resumed and she kept Souza at bay with long jabs. Both women landed body kicks and Yoder continued to press forward with one-twos. She threw kicks to the upper body and Souza secured a headlock. She used it to take top position just before the bell. 10-9 Yoder. Fight could go either way.

Winner: Livia Renata Souza by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. She improves to 14-2-0.

 

Chris Daukaus vs Parker Porter

Round 1:
Porter opened the fight with two leg kicks and the fighters exchanged overhand rights. A clinch followed and Daukaus landed right hooks to the temple. He held Porter against the fence and landed two more right hands. After a separation, Porter cut Daukaus above his left eye with a right hook. Daukaus responded with a quick flurry and two leg kicks. Daukaus dropped Porter with a three-punch combo, but Porter recovered quickly and he got back to his feet. Porter landed a hard leg kick, but Porter backed him up with punches. He hurt Porter with three hooks and landed a final knee that dropped him to the mat, prompting referee Herb Dean to wave off the fight.

Winner: Chris Daukaus by TKO (Punches & Knee) at 4:28 of round one. He improves to 9-3-0.

 

Kai “The Fighting Hawaiian” Kamaka III vs Tony “PrimeTime” Kelley

Round 1:
Quick punches were exchanged to begin the fight and Kamaka countered Kelley’s leg kicks with lead left hooks and straight rights. Both men landed knees to the body and Kamaka continued to score with combinations. He fought off a clinch attempt and attacked Kelley’s body with kicks and knees. A left hook to the liver hurt Kelley and Kamaka pressed forward with more punches before tripping him to the mat. Kelley returned to his feet and Kamaka teed off with punches. He landed another hard left hook to the liver and took Kelley down. Kelley rose to his feet and Kamaka flurried to the body once more. 10-9 Kamaka.

Round 2:
Kamaka landed a quick combination and finished with a hook to the body in the second round. Kelley jabbed in return and landed a hard leg kick. Another left hook to the liver scored for Kamaka, followed by two right hands to Kelley’s face that backed him up. The fighters traded power punches and Kelley landed knees to the body. Kamaka dumped him to the mat, but Kelley worked his way back up with just over one minute remaining in the round. He landed slashing elbows and knees to the body late in the round. 10-9 Kamaka.

Round 3:
Kelley began the final round with elbows in the clinch and a knee, and he tried to counter a Kamaka takedown with a guillotine choke. Kamaka avoided the choke and struck from the top with hammerfists and forearms. Kelley scrambled up and he landed stiff jabs and a body kick. More knees scored for Kelley as he defended against a Kamaka takedown attempt. The fighters separated momentarily and Kelley attacked with body kicks and knees. Time was called when Kamaka was kneed in the groin. Action eventually resumed and Kelley landed jabs that opened a cut on Kamaka’s lip. Both men landed hard jabs in the final minute. 10-9 Kelley.

Winner: Kai Kamaka III by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 8-2-0.
