Francisco “Massaranduba” Trinaldo vs Jay “The Black Country Banger” Herbert

Round 1:
Herbert threw quick jabs and followed with a right cross early in the fight. Trinaldo responded with a hard body kick and he punched his way into a clinch. Trinaldo took Herbert down into half-guard and he tried to set up an arm-triangle choke. Herbert escaped to a seated position and he fought his way free from a guillotine choke. Trinaldo kept the pressure on him and got Herbert back down again. He worked from the top with short punches and then hunted for another guillotine choke when Herbert rose to his knees. Herbert stood and landed two knees in a clinch, but Trinaldo cracked him with a hard left hand that forced Herbert to backpedal. Late in the round, Herbert whipped Trinaldo to the mat and he punched from the top in Trinaldo’s half-guard. 10-9 Trinaldo.

Round 2:
Herbert dropped Trinaldo with a straight right hand to begin round two and he mounted him on the ground. Trinaldo gave up his back and Herbert hunted for a rear-naked choke. A bloodied Trinaldo defended well and he eventually turned into Herbert’s guard. The fighters stood and Herbert landed punches that were countered by a big left hook from Trinaldo. Herbert scored with a knee and both men traded haymakers. Herbert continued to score with punching flurries and he followed with more knees in a brief clinch. Trinaldo attacked Herbert’s lead leg late in the round and he landed a left hand before the bell. 10-9 Herbert.

Round 3:
The final round began with Herbert landing long jabs and Trinaldo responded with a straight left hand. Two leg kicks landed for Trinaldo and he dropped Herbert with a massive overhand left. Herbert was clearly out, but referee Herb Dean did not immediately stop the fight and so Trinaldo reluctantly landed two more punches before the fight was finally waved off.

Winner: Francisco Trinaldo by KO (Punch) at 1:30 of round three. He improves to 27-7-0.

 

Jesse “The Body Snatcher” Ronson vs Nicolas “Lokomotivo” Dalby

Round 1:
Dalby landed a counter right hand and a series of kicks to Ronson’s lead leg and body. He followed with combinations of punches and Ronson fired back with a liver kick. Dalby punched his way into a clinch, but Ronson broke free. Dalby landed more kicks, but he began to get tagged by Ronson’s counterpunches. Ronson floored Dalby with a left hook and he dove in with forearm strikes and hammerfists on the ground. He mounted Dalby, then took his back and locked on a rear-naked choke that forced Dalby to submit.

Winner: Jesse Ronson by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 2:48 of round one. He improves to 22-10-0.

 

Tom Aspinall vs Jake “The Prototype” Collier

Round 1:
Aspinall landed a leg kick and a pair of left-right combos to begin the fight. Soon after, he landed a step-in knee to the body and a vicious one-two that dropped Collier to the mat and emphatically ended the fight.

Winner: Tom Aspinall by TKO (Punches) at 0:45 of round one. He improves to 8-2-0.

 

Movsar Evloev vs Mike Grundy

Round 1:
Grundy countered an early body kick from Evloev with a takedown into half-guard. Evloev escaped to his knees and Grundy maintained a front headlock. Evloev escaped with a rarely-seen Northern Lights Suplex out of nowhere, and the fight returned to the feet. Grundy got another takedown soon after and he eventually locked on a tight Brabo choke on the ground. Evloev was clearly in danger, but he somehow managed to escape and stood up again. Evloev took control of the striking exchanges as the round progressed, and he fought off a takedown attempt with a short uppercut. Evloev continued to outstrike Grundy and he blasted him with a huge right hook with just over a minute remaining. Grundy stayed on his feet and backpedalled as his eye began to swell up. The fighters traded punches late in the close round. 10-9 Grundy by a slim margin.

Round 2:
Evloev mixed up his strikes with one-twos and leg kicks throughout the first half of round two. Grundy got him down once, but only briefly. Evloev continued to pick him apart on the feet and Grundy’s face contrinued to swell up. Evloev jabbed and sprawled out of a takedown attempt from Grundy, who continued to try to take Evloev down. Grundy finally secured a brief takedown and Evloev sprung back to his feet. He cracked Grundy with a hard right hand and more stiff jabs as Grundy slowed down. 10-9 Evloev.

Round 3:
The final round began with Evloev landing a kick to Grundy’s face. Grundy was unfazed, but he was unsuccessful with a takedown attempt. Evloev landed two lead left hooks and stuffed a takedown, then followed with a spinning back kick to the body. A jab-hook combo landed for Evloev and Grundy briefly took him down. Evloev scrambled up and he landed a right hand. Grundy responded with a jumping switch knee and Evloev snapped his head back with a three-punch combo. Grundy took Evloev down and tried for a guillotine choke. Evloev easily escaped and he stood up once more. The fighters separated and both men landed jab-hook combos. Evloev landed a spinning backfist and Grundy finished the round with a lunging right hand. 10-9 Evloev.

Winner: Movsar Evloev by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 13-0-0.

 

Tanner “The Bulldozer” Boser vs Raphael “Bebezão” Pessoa

Round 1:
Boser stayed outside of Pessoa’s rage in the opening minute and he kicked at Pessoa’s lead leg. Pessoa rushed forward with two punches that missed and Boser continued to score with leg kicks. Boser fired off a right-left combo of overhand punches and Pessoa responded with a spinning back kick to the body. Two more leg kicks landed for Boser late in the round. 10-9 Boser.

Round 2:
Pessoa finally found his range with a handful of punches and kicks in the second round, but Boser remained effective with hard leg kicks and one-twos as he kept Pessoa on the defensive. As Pessoa threw a leg kick, Boser countered with a left hook to Pessoa’s right eye. Pessoa immediately covered up and fell to the mat, in obvious pain, and Boser landed follow-up punches until the fight was stopped.

Winner: Tanner Boser by TKO (Punches) at 2:36 of round two. He improves to 19-6-1.

 

Pannie “Banzai” Kianzad vs Bethe “Pitbull” Correia

Round 1:
Kianzad landed a hard jab to Correia’s left eye to begin the fight and she followed with overhand rights and lefts. Correia looked for an early takedown and Kianzad stuffed it. She attacked Correia’s lead leg with kicks and followed with another hard one-two before thwarting another Correia takedown attempt. Kianzad clinched and landed knees until Correia countered with an overhand right. Kianzad cracked her with a right cross and Correia began to show swelling below both of her eyes as Kianzad remained aggressive with her punches. The ten-second warning clapper sounded and Correia confused it for the end of the round. Kianzad attacked with a combination as Correia turned away, but Correia clinched in defence until the end of the round. 10-9 Kianzad.

Round 2:
Correia took top position after Kianzad lost her balance and fell in the second round. She landed punches and hammerfists to Kianzad’s eyes, but Kianzad was able to scramble up to her feet and she scored with knees in a clinch. The fighters separated and Kianzad threw one-twos as Correia answered back with single right hands. A lead left hook and a leg kick scored for Kianzad, who walked Correia down with more punches. Close round. 10-9 Kianzad despite Correia’s ground work.

Round 3:
Both women threw heavy punches in an exchange to begin the final round, and Correia landed two hard left hooks. Kianzad, with her right eye rapidly swelling up, lunged in with a quick one-two. She followed with a lead left hook and another one-two that staggered Correia briefly. Correia tried for a takedown and Kianzad stuffed it. Correia landed two more left hooks, but Kianzad snapped her head back with a counter combination. Kianzad fought off one takedown and landed jabs while circling to the side. Correia finally got her down just before time expired. 10-9 Kianzad.

Winner: Pannie Kianzad by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. She improves to 13-5-0.

 

Ramazan “Gorets” Emeev vs Niklas “Green Mask” Stolze

Round 1:
Stolze struck first with two hard leg kicks and a stiff jab, but Emeev got him down against the cage. Stolze returned to his feet and he landed a one-two. Emeev clinched and got him down, and he avoided a triangle choke attempt from Stolze. As Stolze tried to get back to his feet, Emeev kept him pinned down in a seated position with a guillotine choke that he switched to a Brabo choke. Again, Stolze escaped to his feet and the fighters battled in a clinch. Stolze broke free again and he landed a left-right combo. Emeev closed in and took Stolze down once more, and Stolze secured a guillotine choke from the bottom. Emeev escaped and he struck from the top. Stolze stood late in the round and he landed a huge step-in knee before the bell. 10-9 Stolze due to damage.

Round 2:
Emeev landed a flurry of punches early in the second round and that appeared to give him confidence. He pressed forward with two more lunging punches and remained the aggressor as Stolze slowed down. Emeev kept the pressure on as the round progressed and he tagged Stolze with a hard right cross. Stolze circled to the side and Emeev chased after him with more punches. 10-9 Emeev.

Round 3:
Emeev took Stolze’s back against the cage in round three and he landed a hard knee to Stolze’s face. Emeev briefly looked for a standing rear-naked choke and Stolze broke free. Both men landed punches and Emeev clinched once more. He took Stolze’s back and landed more knees to his legs and body. A big knee landed to Stolze’s face, but he stayed up and prevented Emeev from taking him down. With mere seconds to go, Emeev tripped Stolze and stolze trapped him in a guillotine choke as time expired. 10-9 Emeev.

Nathaniel “The Prospect” Wood vs John “Sexi Mexi” Castañeda

Round 1:
Wood countered early hooks from Castañeda with punch-kick combos and an uppercut in close. The fighters traded more punches and Castañeda landed a right hook behind Wood’s ear. Both men scored with leg kicks and Castañeda lunged in with a one-two. The pace remained high and Wood landed a hard right hook to Castañeda’s temple, which appeared to stagger him momentarily. Castañeda recovered and he landed a quick combination late in the frenetic round. 10-9 Wood.

Round 2:
Castañeda landed a quick flurry early in the second round and he followed with a head kick. Wood was unfazed and he kicked at Castañeda’s lead leg. Wood landed a combination that included a left hook, which opened a cut beside Castañeda’s right eye. Castañeda broke free from a clinch against the fence and Wood landed more leg kicks. He backed Castañeda up with a series of punches and cracked him with a big left hook late in the round. Castañeda switched stances to protect his damaged leg and he landed a three-punch combo before the bell. 10-9 Wood.

Round 3:
Castañeda opened the final round with kicks to Wood’s leg and body. Wood responded with a hard leg kick and a counter one-two that backed Castañeda up momentarily. In close, Castañeda landed short uppercuts and Wood blasted him with two big punches. He followed with knees in a Thai clinch and Castañeda circled away. Two more leg kicks and a straight right hand landed for Wood as he remained in control of the striking exchanges. Wood tripped Castañeda in the dying seconds of the round and the fight ended with a brief exchange of punches after Castañeda returned to his feet. 10-9 Wood.
