Khamzat “Borz” Chimaev vs John “The Welsh Wrecking Machine” Phillips

Round 1:
Chimaev opened the fight with a head kick and an immediate takedown, and he postured up with punches that opened a cut beside Phillips’s left eye. Phillips tried to stand up against the cage and Chimaev kept him pinned down with landing hard punches to the sides of his head. He took partial back control and punished Phillips with left hands to the face. Chimaev continued to batter Phillips with punches and Phillips could do little more than roll and cover up. In the final minute, Chimaev looked for a rear-naked choke and he continued to assault Phillips with punches until the bell. 10-8 Chimaev.

Round 2:
Chimaev took Phillips down again early in the second round and he once again landed punches while preventing Phillips from getting up. In a brief scramble, Phillips got to his knees and Chimaev trapped him in a Brabo choke. Phillips had nowhere to go and tapped out within seconds.

Winner: Khamzat Chimaev by Submission (Brabo Choke) at 1:12 of round two. He improves to 7-0-0.

 

Lerone “The Miracle” Murphy vs Ricardo “Carcacinha” Ramos

Round 1:
Following an early exchange of strikes, Ramos took Murphy’s back and he landed a knee to Murphy’s face as Murphy turned into the clinch. Murphy responded with two punches over the top and he briefly broke free from the clinch. Ramos reversed a Murphy takedown on the way down and the fighters battled as they rose to their feet. Murphy secured a full takedown and he immediately took advantage by raining down big punches and elbows from the top. More big punches landed for Murphy as a dazed Ramos rolled to his side and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Lerone Murphy by TKO (Punches) at 4:18 of round one. He improves to 9-0-1.

 

Modestas Bukauskas vs Andreas “Spartan” Michailidis

Round 1:
Both men landed leg kicks and right hands in the opening minute and Bukauskas continued to throw hard kicks to Michailidis’s lead leg and body. Michailidis landed a chopping leg kick of his own and more kicks were exchanged until Michailidis landed an overhand right. A big combination landed for Michailidis and Bukauskas responded with a lunging left hook. Michailidis shot in for a takedown late in the round and Bukauskas countered with hard elbows to the temple. 10-9 Bukauskas.

The fight was waved off shortly after the bell, as Michailidis was dazed by the late-round elbows from Bukauskas and he nearly fell out of the cage while speaking with the referee.

Winner: Modestas Bukauskas by TKO (Elbows) at 5:00 of round one. He improves to 11-2-0.

 

Jared “Flash” Gordon vs Chris Fishgold

Round 1:
The fighters traded single strikes early on and Fishgold clinched after landing a one-two and a knee to the body. Gordon took him down and secured an arm-in guillotine choke in a scramble. Fishgold freed himself and Gordon got back to his feet. Fishgold landed quick strikes in close and the fighters traded leg kicks. Fishgold countered a takedown with a tight guillotine choke of his own. Gordon stayed calm and he worked his way free by passing to half-guard. Gordon struck from the top with hammerfists and Fishgold regained full guard. In the final seconds of the round, Gordon postured up with harder strikes including a hammerfist to the bridge of Fishgold’s nose. 10-9 Gordon.

Round 2:
Gordon took Fishgold down right away in round two and he once again passed Fishgold’s guard in order to escape from a guillotine choke. Gordon looked to set up a kimura from North-South position and Fishgold avoided it before fighting his way back to full guard. Gordon landed short punches and elbows from the top. He passed to half-guard and continued to strike with elbows and left hands until the end of the round. 10-9 Gordon.

Round 3:
Gordon stuffed a takedown attempt from Fishgold and briefly took his back in the final round. Fishgold scrambled up and the fighters traded punches until Fishgold shot in for another attempt at a takedown. Gordon sprawled and punished Fishgold with numerous punches and hammerfists to the sides of Fishgold’s head as Fishgold turtled. Eventually, Fishgold rolled to his back and Gordon worked from the top in side control. He attacked with more punches until Fishgold got to his knees. Gordon kept him down with non-stop punches to his head. Fishgold was unable to do much of anything besides cover up as Gordon battered him until the end of the fight. 10-8 Gordon.

Winner: Jared Gordon by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-26) after three rounds. He improves to 16-4-0.

 

Liana “She Wolf” Jojua vs Diana “The Warrior Princess” Belbita

Round 1:
Belbita struck first with hard one-twos that led to a clinch against the cage. Jojua reversed the clinch and landed knees, but Belbita took her down into full guard. Jojua quickly spun into a tight armbar from the bottom and Belbita rolled in an attempt to escape. Jojua switched to a straight armbar and then back to a conventional one. She went belly-down with the hold and Belbita was forced to verbally submit.

Winner: Liana Jojua by Verbal Submission (Armbar) at 2:23 of round one. She improves to 8-3-0.

 

Jack “Tank” Shore vs Aaron “The Dragon” Phillips

Round 1:
Shore closed the distance and worked for a takedown against the cage, but Phillips reversed and stood back up. Shore slammed him down soon after and tried to move to side control. Phillips scrambled up and the fighters continued to battle against the clinch. Shore got Phillips down into back control and he flattened him out while landing hard punches to the sides of Phillips’s face. Phillips eventually squirmed free, but Shore put him on his back again before the bell. 10-9 Shore.

Round 2:
The second round began with an exchange of body kicks and Shore took Phillips back down. He struck from the top with elbows until Phillips turned and gave up his back. Shore landed hammerfists and he locked on a tight rear-naked choke that forced Phillips to submit.

Winner: Jack Shore by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 2:29 of round two. He improves to 13-0-0.
