Bobby “King” Green vs Clay “The Carpenter” Guida

Round 1:
Green landed early left hooks and a knee to the body, but Guida responded with an elevated suplex takedown and he retained back control as Green rose to his feet. Green landed knees to the body and briefly threatened with a guillotine choke before the fighters separated. Green threw a head kick and Guida responded with a hard leg kick. Green struck with single punches from a distance until Guida cracked him with a hard right hooks. He took Green down into back control, but Green stood and he threw elbows to Guida’s temple as Guida tried to pull out his legs to get him back down. Green landed hammerfists and elbows late in the round as Guida dragged him down before the bell. Close round. 10-9 Green due to damage.

Round 2:
The second round began with Green jabbing from a distance and he followed with a front kick to Guida’s jaw that snapped his head back. Green countered a clinch attempt with knees to the body and he followed with more hard knees from a Thai clinch. Guida tried to take him down and Green sprawled in defence. On the feet, Green countered leg kicks from Guida with a combination. Guida attempted a takedown and Green countered with a guillotine choke. The fight returned to the feet and Green threw a jumping knee and a leg kick in the final seconds. Guida responded by taking him down into back control just as the bell sounded. 10-9 Green.

Round 3:
Guida closed the distance with overhand rights and he took Green down against the base of the cage. Green countered with a kimura and he used it to get back to his feet. Green mixed up his strikes with front kicks to the body and lead right hooks until Guida shot in and got him down to a knee. Green got back up and he tripped Guida, then threw punches to his ribs as Guida got to his knees and tried to drive forward for a takedown. The fight returned to the feet and Green landed a knee to the body while fighting off Guida’s attempts to take him down. With 30 seconds to go, Green broke free and he landed a one-two before Guida shot for one more takedown. Green countered with a hammerlock and punched Guida’s face until the end of the fight. 10-9 Green.

Winner: Bobby Green by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 25-10-1.

 

Tecia “The Tiny Tornado” Torres vs Brianna “Tha Bull” Van Buren

Round 1:
Torres opened the fight with four kicks to Van Buren’s upper body and that prompted Van Buren to clinch and back her up against the cage. She got Torres down momentarily and Torres quickly regained her footing. Torres eventually broke free from the clinch and Van Buren threw a grazing spinning back elbow. Another clinch followed soon after and this time Torres held Van Buren against the fence. Van Buren reversed and backed away, and she landed a counter right hook as Torres closed in and clinched. Torres punched to the body and the fighters exchanged knees until Van Buren whipped Torres down to the mat just before the end of the close round. 10-9 Torres.

Round 2:
Torres was very aggressive to open round two and she attacked with jumping switch kicks and a combination. The fighters clinched and Torres looked for a takedown while Van Buren countered with knees. She escaped from the clinch and Torres chased after her with punches. Two body kicks and lead right hands landed for Torres, who rushed forward with another hard flurry of punches that backed Van Buren up. Torres landed two right hooks and multiple body kicks late in the frenetic round. 10-9 Torres.

Round 3:
The final round began with Torres continuing to mix up her strikes with a variety of kicks and lead right hooks. She threw a spinning hook kick and Van Buren dropped levels for a takedown. Torres stayed on her feet, but Van Buren cracked her with a back elbow strike to the eye. Torres continued to fight off Van Buren’s takedown attempts and she landed short punches to the side of Van Buren’s head. After a brief separation, the fighters clinched again following a Torres body kick. Van Buren broke free and Torres chased after her with side kicks and punches late in the fight. 10-9 Torres.

Winner: Tecia Torres by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. She improves to 11-5-0.

 

Marc-André “Power Bar” Barriault vs Oskar “Imadlo” Piechota

Round 1:
Barriault pressed forward aggressively with a combination that backed Piechota up in the opening seconds. Piechota fired back with an uppercut and the fighters traded right hands in an ensuing exchange. Piechota struck from a distance with one-twos and a body kick while circling away from Barriault’s power hand. Barriault continued to chase after Piechota with lunging punches and he scored with short uppercuts and elbows that forced Piechota to backpedal. Barriault landed two more right hands and a brief clinch ensued. After the break, Barriault landed a step-in uppercut and he continued to pressure Piechota with combinations. In the final seconds, Piechota attempted a takedown and Barriault hurt him with counter uppercuts. 10-9 Barriault.

Round 2:
Piechota countered Barriault’s forward pressure with short right hooks and uppercuts in the second round. He landed a hard uppercut as Barriault dropped levels for a takedown, but Barriault still got him down against the base of the cage. Piechota scrambled up, however, and he circled away as Barriault chased after him with punches. An uppercut landed for Barriault and he closed in with a knee and a right cross. More right uppercuts landed for Barriault and Piechota finally fell to the mat after an elbow to the temple. Barriault stood over him and landed hammerfists and punches to the face of a dazed Piechota until the bout was stopped.

Winner: Marc-André Barriault by TKO (Punches) at 4:50 of round two. He improves to 12-4-0.

 

Gillian “The Savage” Robertson vs Cortney “Cast Iron” Casey

Round 1:
Casey struck first with a hard right hand and she used her reach advantage to keep Robertson at bay early on. Robertson secured a clinch soon after and she took Casey down into half-guard. As Robertson worked from the top, Casey looked to set up a kimura from the bottom. Robertson avoided danger and passed to side control. Casey got back to half-guard again, but Robertson passed back to side control and she landed short elbows while keeping Casey pinned down. Casey was able to get back to half-guard once more, but she was unable to do much else from the bottom and Robertson closed out the round with another pass to side control. 10-9 Robertson.

Round 2:
Casey began the second round with a sense of urgency and she scored with a nice combination. Robertson responded with a swift takedown and she passed to North-South position. Casey countered with an armbar attempt from the bottom and she landed punches and hammerfists until Robertson pulled her arm free. Robertson wound up in Casey’s half-guard and she landed short elbows to Casey’s jaw. Casey attempted to explode up to her feet and Robertson attacked with an arm-triangle choke in a scramble. Casey turned to her right to escape from the choke, but that allowed Robertson to land more elbows from the top late in the round. 10-9 Robertson.

Round 3:
Robertson looked to close the distance in the final round and she landed a lead left hook, but Casey countered with right hooks and uppercuts. Robertson threw a grazing head kick and immediately dropped levels for a takedown. She got Casey down into full guard and Casey went belly-down with an armbar. Robertson stayed calm and escaped, and she wound up in Casey’s guard again. Robertson passed to side control and then took Casey’s back, which allowed her to lock on a tight rear-naked choke for the submission finish.

Winner: Gillian Robertson by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 4:32 of round three. She improves to 8-4-0.

 

Justin “Guitar Hero” Jaynes vs Frank “The Crank” Camacho

Round 1:
After an early eschange of punches, Jaynes hurt Camacho with two lead left hooks that momentarily dropped him to the mat. Camacho stood and Jaynes blasted him with more left hooks and overhand rights. Camacho was rocked two more times and appeared to be out on his feet as referee Herb Dean stepped in to save him from further punishment. Impressive debut for Jaynes on very short notice.

Winner: Justin Jaynes by TKO (Punches) at 0:41 of round one. He improves to 16-4-0.

 

“Lucky” Lauren Murphy vs Roxanne “The Happy Warrior” Modafferi

Round 1:
Modafferi opened the fight with jabs and Murphy answered with single right hands and leg kicks. Modafferi punched her way into a clinch and pinned Murphy against the fence. Murphy eventually broke free and she landed another right hand and a leg kick. Modafferi jabbed and she walked forward with a flurry. Murphy countered with a one-two and she landed another leg kick late in the close round. 10-9 Modafferi by a slim margin.

Round 2:
The second round began with Modafferi pressing forward with a combination and Murphy countered with a hard right hook that stunned Modafferi and forced her to momentarily backpedal. Murphy walked her down and the fighters traded punches after Modafferi quickly recovered. A clinch battle followed and Murphy stuffed a takedown attempt. She took Modafferi’s back and suplexed her down to the mat. Murphy looked for a rear-naked choke, but Modafferi turned into her guard. Murphy kicked her off and the fighters stood against the cage. Modafferi got Murphy down to her knees and she landed short right hands, but Murphy returned to her feet before the bell. 10-9 Murphy.

Round 3:
Murphy countered a right cross from Modafferi with an uppercut early in the final round. Modafferi responded with a step-in elbow that got Murphy’s attention, but Murphy retained an edge in the striking exchanges with overhand rights and lead left hooks. Modafferi punched her way into a clinch and she landed knees to the body while working for a takedown. The fighters separated and Modafferi landed an overhand right. She followed with a leg kick and Modafferi answered with an elbow over the top. Modafferi flurried with punches in the final 30 seconds, but Murphy answered with right hands and a late takedown. Modafferi attempted a triangle choke before the end of the fight. Another close round. 10-9 Murphy.

Winner: Lauren Murphy by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. She improves to 13-4-0.

 

Austin “Thud” Hubbard vs Max “Rated R” Rohskopf

Round 1:
Hubbard countered two early kicks from Rohskopf with a one-two and the fighters traded punches until Rohskopf took Hubbard’s back and suplexed him down to the mat. Rohskopf landed on top in side control, but Hubbard scrambled up and scored with a hard knee on the way. Rohskopf attempted another takedown and he got Hubbard down by attacking his left ankle. Rohskopf tried for a rolling heel hook, but Hubbard escaped and the fighters stood up. Hubbard landed two quick kicks to the body and a hard right hand late in the round. 10-9 Rohskopf.

Round 2:
Rohskopf got Hubbard down early in round two and he attempted a top-side guillotine choke, but Hubbard once again scrambled free and stood up. Both men landed kicks that strayed low, but action continued and Hubbard landed a jab-cross combo. He followed with two overhand rights and followed with more of tehm as Rohskopf slowed way down. Hubbard opened cuts near both of Rohskopf’s eyes with punching combinations and he mixed in leg kicks to keep a fatigued Rohskopf guessing. Big punches to the body landed for Hubbard shortly before the bell. 10-9 Hubbard.

Between rounds, an exhausted and dejected Rohskopf indicated that he was not willing to continue and wanted the fight stopped, giving Hubbard the victory.

Winner: Austin Hubbard by TKO (Retirement) at 5:00 of round two. He improves to 12-4-0.
