Sijara “Sarj” Eubanks vs Sarah “Cheesecake” Moras

Round 1:
Moras darted in with jabs and a leg kick early on, but Eubanks cracked her with a pair of overhand rights and a grazing head kick. Another combination and a body kick landed for Eubanks soon after. The fighters traded one-twos and leg kicks as the round progressed and Eubanks continued to find success with overhand rights. Moras answered back with jabs and a body kick, which Eubanks countered with a right hook. The round ended with an exchange of punches and both women landed. 10-9 Eubanks.

Round 2:
Moras clinched early in the second round and the fighters battled for position against the cage before separating. Moras landed a quick combination and Eubanks responded with a body kick. More jabs and body kicks landed for Moras, but Eubanks cracked her with a left hook and an overhand right. Moras clinched and the fighters exchanged punches and knees to the body. Eubanks stuffed a takedown and she got Moras down seconds later. Moras immediately countered with an armbar and an omoplata, but Eubanks retook top position and she landed punches and short elbows from Moras’s half-guard. Eubanks mounted Moras and then took her back before time expired. 10-9 Eubanks due to the late rally.

Round 3:
Eubanks opened the final round with a three-punch combo and Moras answered with kicks to the body and lead leg. She followed with a head kick and a clinch ensued against the cage. Eubanks landed another flurry and a Superman Punch after the break. She got Moras down and Moras threw hammerfists from the bottom. She spun into an armbar and Eubanks worked to free her arm. She eventually escaped into side control and postured up with heavy punches as Moras covered up until the bell. 10-9 Eubanks.

Winner: Sijara Eubanks by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. She improves to 5-4-0.

 

Omar Antonio Morales Ferrer vs Gabriel “Moggly” Benitez

Round 1:
Benitez used early kicks to set up a combination and he followed with a hard body kick. Morales responded with stiff jabs and a grazing head kick. He threw two more high kicks and a winging right hand that was blocked. Benitez countered with a left hook and he followed with another one, but Morales pressed forward with right hands and head kicks. Benitez landed a hard left cross and a head kick of his own, which prompted Morales to lunge forward with looping hooks that missed. Benitez scored with a combination and a counter uppercut late in the close round. 10-9 Morales.

Round 2:
The fighters traded punches in the second round until time was briefly called when Benitez was poked in the eye. Action resumed and both men landed hard body kicks. Benitez caught a kick and countered with punches to the face of an off-balance Morales. Soon after, Morales backed Benitez up with two right hooks and a body kick. He followed with a glancing head kick and a knee. In the final minute, Benitez landed leg kicks and Morales continued to attack with kicks to the upper body. Morales missed with a spinning back kick and was dumped to the mat at the bell. 10-9 Morales.

Round 3:
Morales continued to throw right hands and he evaded a Benitez head kick attempt early in round three. Benitez attacked with kicks to the inside and outside of Morales’s lead leg. Morales walked forward with right hands and two vicious body kicks. Benitez responded with a counter left hook and Morales flurried in return. Benitez landed a nice combination and he snapped Morales’s head back with a straight left hand. Morales answered back with more body kicks and overhand rights. Another body kick and two hooks to the liver scored for Benitez. Close final round. 10-9 Benitez. Decision could go to either fighter.

Winner: Omar Antonio Morales Ferrer by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 10-0-0.

 

Brian “Boom” Kelleher vs Hunter Azure

Round 1:
Azure landed kicks to Kelleher’s lead leg and body early on and Kelleher replied with a chopping leg kick of his own. Both men landed quick punches and Azure fought off a takedown attempt with an uppercut and a short counter hook. He blocked a head kick and stuffed another takedown, then cracked Kelleher with lead left hooks. Kelleher landed his best combination of the fight and then missed badly with a wild spinning backfist. Azure jabbed and sprawled to defend against another takedown attempt. He circled away from Kelleher’s grasp and the fighters traded left hooks and leg kicks. Both men attempted head kicks late in the round. 10-9 Azure.

Round 2:
The second round began with Azure landing flurries to Kelleher’s body. Kelleher fired back with a hard overhand right, but Azure maintained a quick pace and he landed kick-punch combos as Kelleher moved forward. Kelleher landed two body kicks, but Azure countered with a flurry and a knee. He held Kelleher against the fence and both men landed punches on the break. Kelleher scored with a head kick and a right hook, then floored Azure with a massive left hook seconds later. He followed with two hammerfists on the ground that knocked Azure out cold.

Winner: Brian Kelleher by KO (Punches) at 3:40 of round two. He improves to 21-10-0.

 

Chase “The Vanilla Gorilla” Sherman vs Isaac “Hurricane Ike” Villanueva

Round 1:
Sherman landed two quick kicks to open the fight and Villanueva responded with a lead left hook. Sherman landed a left hand of his own and the fighters traded power punches. A left hook and a leg kick landed for Sherman, who continued to target Villanueva’s lead leg as Villanueva rushed forward with punches. Sherman scored with a stiff jab and a liver kick before ducking under overhand counters from Villanueva. After Villanueva landed two left hooks, the fighters traded huge power shots and both landed. Sherman stunned Villanueva with a flurry and a knee. Villanueva quickly recovered and both men landed hard combinations before the bell. Good round. 10-9 Sherman.

Round 2:
Villanueva opened round two with lunging punches, but Sherman stopped him with a counter combination and a knee. Villanueva retreated to the cage and Sherman attacked with more punches and an elbow that dropped a bloodied Villanueva to his knees and ended the fight.

Winner: Chase Sherman by TKO (Punches & Elbow) at 0:49 of round two. He improves to 15-6-0.
