Kyler “The Matrix” Phillips vs Gabriel “Gabito” Silva

Round 1:
Silva opened the fight aggressively with right hands and Phillips responded with a jumping knee to the body. He followed with a step-in elbow and a front kick to the face. Silva countered Phillips’s striking by clinching and holding him against the fence. Phillips quickly broke free and fired off a combination. He followed with another flying knee, but Silva closed in with quick combinations. Phillips kicked at Silva’s lead leg in response and he stunned him with a flurry of punches. Two hard right hands landed for Phillips and he followed with more punches and a knee to the chest. Silva secured a trip takedown late in the round, but Phillips stood and Silva fell while throwing a kick. Good round. 10-9 Phillips.

Round 2:
Phillips landed a nice three-punch combo to begin the second round and Silva took his back. He dragged Phillips down and the fighters battled back and forth, with each holding back control only to be reversed. After a scramble, Silva took top position on the ground and he avoided a triangle choke attempt by passing to side control. Phillips scrambled up and was dragged down again. He reversed into back control himself, then countered a heel hook attempt by mounting Silva. Phillips struck from the top until Silva scrambled into a heel hook attempt, which Phillips broke free from by blasting him with hammerfists. 10-9 Phillips.

Round 3:
Phillips stunned Silva with a combination early in round three and he followed with a jumping knee and a takedown. He attempted a guillotine choke and Silva spun free before standing up. A knee landed for Silva and he rushed forward with punches, only to be taken down again. Silva avoided an arm-triangle choke attempt, but Phillips transitioned from side control to mount and he rained down punches from the top. Silva rolled and worked his way back to his feet, but Phillips landed a hard knee and an elbow before the end of the fight. 10-9 Phillips.

Winner: Kyler Phillips by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 7-1-0.

 

Brendan “All In” Allen vs Tom Breese

Round 1:
The fighters clinched against the cage early on and Breese reversed a takedown into a partial back control, but Allen turned into his guard and transitioned to side control seconds later. He worked for a kimura on Breese’s right arm and then postured up with punches and elbows. Breese initiated a scramble and briefly held top position. Allen avoided a triangle choke attempt and postured up with elbows and punches from the top. He continued to throw strikes while Breese covered up and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Brendan Allen by TKO (Elbows & Punches) at 4:47 of round one. He improves to 14-3-0.

 

Marcin “Tybur” Tybura vs Sergey “The Polar Bear” Spivak

Round 1:
Spivak scored with a head kick early on and the fighters traded punches until Tybura took Spivak down. He landed right hands to Spivak’s head and body and followed with short elbows. He maintained top position and passed to half-guard in the final minute. More short punches and elbows scored for Tybura before the bell. 10-9 Tybura.

Round 2:
Power punches were exchanged to begin round two and Tybura drove forward for a takedown against the cage. Spivak stayed on his feet and Tybura threw knees to the body. The fighters were separated and Spivak landed a combination. Tybura responded with two head kicks and he countered a throw attempt from Spivak by taking partial back control on the ground. He eventually sunk in both hooks and tried for a rear-naked choke in the final seconds of the round. 10-9 Tybura.

Round 3:
Tybura closed the distance and clinched with Spivak against the cage in round three. Spivak broke free, but Tybura clinched again soon after. Spivak punched his way out of the clinch and both men landed uppercuts in close. Tybura got Spivak down and he landed elbows from the top in half-guard. Spivak was unable to scramble free and Tybura landed punches and elbows until the end of the fight. 10-9 Tybura.

Winner: Marcin Tybura by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 18-6-0.

 

Luis “Violent Bob Ross” Pena vs Steve “Mean Machine” Garcia

Round 1:
Garcia repeatedly scored with overhand lefts and rights early on and he dumped Pena to the mat after catching a knee. Pena scrambled up and took Garcia’s back against the cage. He pulled him down to the mat and sunk in one hook while landing punches to the sides of Garcia’s head. He used hammerfists to set up a rear-naked choke attempt, but Garcia escaped. He threw back elbow strikes and fought off another rear-naked choke. Pena threw elbows and continued to look for a choke until the bell. 10-9 Pena.

Round 2:
Garcia rushed at Pena with a flurry of punches to begin round two, but Pena clinched and took him down into back control. As in round one, Pena used hammerfists to the sides of Garcia’s head to set up rear-naked choke attempts, but Garcia continued to defend well. Pena continued to throw hammerfists and Garcia countered with backward punches to Pena’s face before the bell. 10-9 Pena.

Round 3:
Pena ran forward with a flying knee attempt in round three and Garcia fell down in the process, but he trapped Pena in a tight triangle choke on the ground. Pena stayed calm and managed to work his way free, then quickly transitioned to Garcia’s back. He returned to working for rear-naked chokes while Garcia defended and threw punches behind his head again. Garcia nearly spun into Pena’s guard, bur Pena retained the position and he hunted for chokes until the end of the fight. 10-9 Pena.

Winner: Luis Pena by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 8-2-0.

 

Jordan “The Native Psycho” Griffin vs “Downtown” T.J. Brown

Round 1:
Both men hurt each other with right hooks to begin the fight and Brown took Griffin down. Griffin attempted a guillotine choke and Brown punched his way free. The fighters stood and battled in a clinch until Brown dumped Griffin to the mat again. He kept him pinned down against the base of the cage and landed short punches and knees to Griffin’s body. Late in the round, Griffin scrambled up and attempted a rear-naked choke, but Brown shook him off. Griffin then pulled guard with a guillotine choke and Brown escaped just as the bell sounded. 10-9 Brown.

Round 2:
Griffin opened round two with a head kick and Brown immediately answered with a hard left hook. He took Griffin down and struck from the top until Griffin stood against the cage. Brown landed short elbows in the clinch and Griffin responded with knees to the body. He countered a takedown with another guillotine choke. Brown held top position in side control, and Griffin had no control over Brown’s body, but the choke was tight and Brown was rendered unconscious within seconds.

Winner: Jordan Griffin by Technical Submission (Guillotine Choke) at 3:38 of round two. He improves to 18-7-0.

 

Spike “The Alpha Ginger” Carlyle vs Aalon Cruz

Round 1:
Cruz started strong with a series of body kicks in the opening minute. Carlyle responded with a head kick that appeared to stun Cruz, who shot in for a takedown against the cage. Carlyle hurt him with an elbow and Cruz fell to his knees. Carlyle swarmed on him with punches and hammerfists from mount and the fight was quickly stopped.

Winner: Spike Carlyle by TKO (Elbow & Punches) at 1:25 of round one. He improves to 9-1-0.

 

Sean Brady vs Ismail “The Austrian Wonderboy” Naurdiev

Round 1:
The fight began with an exchange of leg kicks in the opening minute and Brady eventually caught one from Naurdiev, who countered with uppercuts and elbows over the top. Naurdiev followed with a combination and a body kick, then jumped in with a knee. He fought off a takedown attempt and continued to land kicks to Brady’s ribs. Brady responded with a quick combination and a body kick of his own. Both men landed punching combinations and Naurdiev attempted another jumping knee to the body. He fought off another takedown attempt and landed another punch-kick combo late in the round. 10-9 Naurdiev.

Round 2:
Naurdiev backed Brady up with quick punches and a body kick in round two, but Brady rushed forward with a lunging flurry of his own. The fighters traded more punches and Brady shot in for a takedown. Naurdiev grabbed the cage, but Brady still got him down into back control. He landed punches to Naurdiev’s face and knees to his left leg while pinning him down against the base of the cage. Naurdiev spun around and avoided a guillotine choke while battling back to his feet. He briefly looked for a takedown of his own, but Brady stuffed it and slammed Naurdiev down to the mat. The round ended with Brady landing elbows from the top in Naurdiev’s half-guard. 10-9 Brady.

Round 3:
Brady landed a hard combination in the final round and he took Naurdiev down into a partial back control again. Naurdiev tried to stand against the cage and Brady threw knees to the thigh before attempting a neck crank. Naurdiev rolled to his back and he managed to stand, but not before Brady landed more punches and knees. He took Naurdiev back down and peppered him with punches and hammerfists to the sides of his head. In the final seconds, Brady pulled guard with a guillotine choke, but time expired. 10-9 Brady.

Winner: Sean Brady by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 12-0-0.
