Ciryl “Bon Gamin” Gane vs Tanner “The Bulldozer” Boser

Round 1:
Boser struck first with a leg kick and Gane answered soon after with a lead right hook. Boser caught a body kick and tried to trip Gane, but Gane broke free. Another leg kick scored for Boser and Gane tripped him as Boser threw a body kick. Boser stood and ducked under a right hook. He landed an overhand right to Gane’s temple and Gane fired back with a right hook. He avoided lunging punches from Boser and threw a counter hook and an uppercut in return. Late in the round, Gane ducked under a lead hook from Boser and countered with a short punch and a knee to the body in close. Back-and-forth opening round. 10-9 Gane by a slim margin due to the late-round offence.

Round 2:
Gane looked for a takedown after Boser landed a pair of leg kicks in round two, but Boser shrugged him off and circled away. Gane jabbed and fired off a kick to Boser’s thigh. Boser responded with his best leg kick of the fight, but Gane continued to press the action with single kicks to the body and punches to Boser’s face. Gane stunned Boser with lead hooks that led to a brief exchange. Boser recovered quickly and landed a leg kick before rushing forward with punches that Gane evaded. Both men landed left hooks and Gane backed Boser up with a jab. Another exchange of left hands followed and both men landed power punches late in the round. 10-9 Gane.

Round 3:
Boser rushed at Gane with overhand punches to begin round three and Gane landed a backfist in return after avoiding Boser’s strikes. As the round progressed, Boser threw body kicks and he caught one from Gane, but Gane quickly broke free from his grasp. Gane landed a knee and an uppercut as he walked down Boser. Stiff jabs and a quick combination landed for Gane, who stepped forward with a knee to the chest. Boser clinched and Gane countered with another knee to the body. He followed with a jumping switch knee to the jaw and walked Boser down with punches and another knee before the bell. 10-8 Gane.

Winner: Ciryl Gane by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-26) after three rounds. He improves to 6-0-0.

 

Seung Woo “Sting” Choi vs Suman Mokhtarian

Round 1:
Power punches were exchanged right away and Choi pressed the action. He landed right hooks and a left hand while backing Mokhtarian up against the cage and followed with a question mark kick. Mokhtarian circled away and Choi chased after him. He secured a clinch and landed knees to the body before pinning Mokhtarian against the fence again. More knees were exchanged and Choi landed some to Mokhtarian’s face, but time was called and the referee docked Choi one point for grabbing the cage. The fight continued and Choi pressed forward with punches that were met by body kicks from Mokhtarian. The fighters clinched and Choi scored with knees to the body and a standing elbow. 9-9.

Round 2:
Choi remained the aggressor early in round two and he landed punches and two head kicks that were partially blocked. Mokhtarian struggled to land anything in return and Choi swarmed on him with body kicks and punches. Mokhtarian staggered away and Choi dropped him with another body kick and a right hand. From the top in Mokhtarian’s half-guard, Choi landed punches and elbows until time was called to replace Mokhtarian’s mouthpiece. After the restart, Choi landed elbows from the top that cut Mokhtarian. The fight returned to the feet with 50 seconds remaining in the round and both men landed front kicks shortly before the bell. 10-8 Choi.

Round 3:
Choi pressed the action again in the third round and he landed punching combinations that were answered by leg and body kicks from Mokhtarian. Time was called after Choi was poked in the eye. The fight resumed and both men threw wild attacks on the feet before Choi took Mokhtarian down into side control. He tried to move to mount with 90 seconds to go, but Mokhtarian trapped him in half-guard. Choi scored with elbows from the top and he continued to batter Mokhtarian with more elbows until the end of the fight. 10-9 Choi.

Winner: Seung Woo Choi by Unanimous Decision (29-25, 29-26, 29-26) after three rounds. He improves to 8-3-0.

 

Omar Antonio Morales Ferrer vs “Maestro” Dong Hyun Ma

Round 1:
Ma landed a counter left hook and a leg kick to begin the fight. He followed with a big left cross soon after and Morales responded with a right hand. Morales caught a kick and tripped Ma to the mat, then worked from the top with punches to the body. Ma looked to set up a kimura from the bottom and Morales defended with more strikes to Ma’s ribs. Ma postured a second time for the kimura, but Morales was able to defend by grabbing on to his own leg. Morales landed short punches to the body before the round ended. 10-9 Morales.

Round 2:
The second round was more tentative until Ma landed a left hand and Morales immediately fired back with a one-two. Two leg kicks landed for Ma and a fired up Morales answered back with a body kick. Jabs and short hooks were exchanged as the pace remained measured. Ma eventually landed a nice counter right hook that allowed him to follow with two more right hands. Morales responded with a spinning back kick and a right cross, and he pressed forward with two more lunging punches in the final minute. He closed out the round with a kick to the upper body. Close second round. 10-9 Morales.

Round 3:
Morales countered a right hand from Ma with a three-punch combo and a head kick attempt in round three. Big punches were exchanged and Morales dropped Ma with a spinning heel kick to the temple. Morales landed punches and elbows from Ma’s half-guard as Ma recovered on the bottom. With one minute to go, Morales postured up and dropped hammerfists before Ma countered with a kimura attempt. Morales took his back in the process and Ma scrambled up to his feet before the final bell. 10-9 Morales.

Winner: Omar Antonio Morales Ferrer by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 9-0-0.

 

Alexandre “The Cannibal” Pantoja vs Matt “Danger” Schnell

Round 1:
Pantoja scored right away with hard right hands and that led to an exchange of huge power punches from both fighters. Pantoja stunned Schnell twice and Schnell tried unsuccessfully for a takedown. Both men landed right hooks and Pantoja followed with a hard leg kick. Schnell wobbled Pantoja with a counter left hook, but Pantoja recovered and took him down. He punched from the top until Schnell scrambled up to his feet. Pantoja caught a kick and tripped Schnell to the mat, then dove in with a big right hand and passed to side control. Schnell regained half-guard and used it to work back to his feet, but not before eating another right hand. More power punches were exchanged on the feet and Pantoja landed a vicious one-two that sent Schnell face-first to the canvas and ended the fight.

Winner: Alexandre Pantoja by KO (Punches) at 4:17 of round one. He improves to 22-4-0.

 

Raoni Barcelos vs Said Nurmagomedov

Round 1:
Looping punches were exchanged early on and Nurmagomedov threw kicks to Barcelos’s upper body. A spinning backfist just missed for Nurmagomedovand and he landed jabs that caused Barcelos’s mouth to bleed. Barcelos connected with an overhand right and a body kick. Both men landed chopping leg kicks and Nurmagomedov continued to throw spinning strikes. Barcelos landed a counter hook and a body kick before countering a spinning backfist by taking Nurmagomedov’s back and dragging him down to his knees. Nurmagomedov stood and tried unsuccessfully for a takedown. Close round. 10-9 Barcelos.

Round 2:
Nurmagomedov opened round two with another spinning backfist and Barcelos responded with leg and body kicks. He hurt Nurmagomedov with a leg kick and stuffed a takedown attempt. Barcelos landed a quick one-two and both men scored with body kicks. Hard leg kicks were exchanged in the ensuing minute and Barcelos stuffed a takedown. He took Nurmagomedov’s back and Nurmagomedov threw back elbow strikes. Barcelos peppered him with right hands, but Nurmagomedov continued to throw elbows. Barcelos hopped on Nurmagomedov’s back and sunk in both hooks while working for a standing rear-naked choke. Nurmagomedov defended until the bell. 10-9 Barcelos.

Round 3:
The final round began with both men landing kicks and Nurmagomedov continued to try to land a spinning backfist. He circled and landed two leg kicks before Barcelos initiated a clinch against the cage. Both men threw standing elbows before separating and returning to the middle of the cage. Nurmagomedov threw a spinning back kick to the body, but Barcelos countered with a takedown and he looked to set up an arm-triangle choke from the top. He mounted Nurmagomedov and then took his back in a scramble. Barcelos briefly looked to spin into an armbar, but Nurmagomedov scrambled up to his feet before the end of the round. 10-9 Barcelos.

Winner: Raoni Barcelos by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 15-1-0.

 

Amanda Lemos vs Miranda “Danger” Granger

Round 1:
Both women landed leg kicks in the opening minute and Lemos clipped Granger with a left hook as Granger moved in to clinch. Lemos took her down and landed punches from the top while preventing Granger from setting up a submission. Granger tried to stand up against the base of the cage, but Lemos locked on a no-hooks rear-naked choke in the process. She flattened Granger out while maintaining the choke and Granger was quickly rendered unconscious.

Winner: Amanda Lemos by Technical Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 3:43 of round one. She improves to 7-1-1.

 

Heili Alateng vs Ryan “Baby Face” Benoit

Round 1:
After an exchange of kicks in the opening minute, Benoit landed a nice left cross that led to a battle in the clinch. Alateng backed away and Benoit landed another left hand and a body kick. He hurt Alateng with a liver kick, but Alateng circled away and bought time to recover. Benoit connected with a Superman punch and Alateng fired back with a right hook. With one minute to go, Alateng landed a hard one-two and Benoit responded with another liver kick soon after. Alateng briefly wobbled Benoit with a right hand late in the competitive round. 10-9 Benoit.

Round 2:
Benoit opened the second round with another liver kick and that led to exchange of hard punches. Benoit continued to score with kicks and he followed up on a head kick with a flurry of punches. Alateng regained his footing and answered back with a body kick of his own. Two leg kicks also scored for Alateng and he cracked Benoit with a right cross. Another right hand landed for Alateng and he kept the pressure on with leg kicks and punches while Benoit circled near the cage wall. Benoit pressed forward with a body kick and a left hand, but he ate a three-punch combo from Alateng in return. Alateng hurt Benoit with a right hook just before the bell. 10-9 Alateng.

Round 3:
Alateng took Benoit down right away in the final round. Benoit battled back to his feet, but Alateng dragged him back down two more times. Benoit fought off one takedown attempt in the second half of the round, but Alateng slammed him down soon after and worked from the top in his guard. Benoit escaped to his feet and landed a knee before the fighters separated. Benoit jabbed and shrugged off a takedown. Benoit landed a knee and he stunned Alateng with punches and hammerfists late in the fight as Alateng tried unsuccessfully for a takedown. Close round and fight. 10-9 Alateng, barely.

Winner: Heili Alateng by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 14-7-1.
