Randa “Quiet Storm” Markos vs Ashley “Spider Monkey” Yoder

Round 1:
After an early exchange of kicks, Markos punched her way into a clinch and held Yoder against the cage. Yoder countered with a headlock throw and moved to a seated side control. Markos countered with an inverted triangle choke from the bottom and Yoder had to act quickly to escape. She wound up on top again and looked to isolate Markos’s left arm. Markos scrambled up and she briefly trapped Yoder in a Brabo choke. The fighters stood and traded power punches late in the close round. 10-9 Markos.

Round 2:
The second round began with an exchange of kicks and Yoder kneed her way into a clinch. Both women landed elbows over the top before separating. Markos landed some solid right hooks and uppercuts before Yoder landed two right hands in a clinch. Markos flurried with punches again and Yoder took her down. Yoder struck from the top in Markos’s half-guard with short punches and elbows. Markos kicked her off and stood up, then landed a hard right hand and took top position in Yoder’s guard. Markos passed to half-guard and landed short hammerfists and forearm strikes. Yoder regained full guard and Markos rained down punches before the bell. Another close round. 10-9 Markos.

Round 3:
Punches were exchanged in the final round and Markos backed Yoder up on two occasions. She landed more combinations and Yoder tried for a takedown. A scramble followed, but Yoder wound up with back control and she looked to set up a rear-naked choke. Markos scrambled and Yoder wound up on top in half-guard. Markos broke free and stood up, and she landed a one-two before backing away. Markos landed a right hand and Yoder kicked to the body. A hard one-two landed for Markos and she snapped Yoder’s head back with a right hook before the final bell. Very close fight. 10-9 Yoder, barely.

Winner: Randa Markos by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. She improves to 10-7-1.

 

Rafael “Ataman” Fiziev vs Alex “The Spartan” White

Round 1:
The fighters traded kicks and punches in the opening 90 seconds until Fiziev rocked White with a flurry. White retreated to the cage, but he recovered and circled out. Fiziev closed the distance and landed hard knees in a clinch. White responded with a lunging one-two that backed Fiziev up. The fighters traded punches again and Fiziev landed knees in close. Fiziev opened a cut above White’s right eye late in the round. 10-9 Fiziev.

Round 2:
Fiziev wobbled White with a right cross in the second round, but White recovered and tried for a takedown against the cage. Fiziev stuffed two takedowns and he hurt White with knees and punches to the body. Fiziev continued to fight off White’s clinch attempts and he landed punches and two kicks to the upper body. 10-9 Fiziev.

Round 3:
Fiziev took White down in the final round and he opened a cut above White’s left eye. White battled back to his feet and he rushed forward with punches. Fiziev countered with hard leg kicks and he punched his way into a clinch. White was unable to take Fiziev down and Fiziev walked forward with his hands down. He landed a right hand after stuffing a takedown from White late in the fight. 10-9 Fiziev.

Winner: Rafael Fiziev by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 7-1-0.

 

Movsar Evloev vs Enrique “El Fuerte” Barzola

Round 1:
Evloev landed a one-two and a hard jab to open the fight. He followed with a right hand and another jab that damaged Barzola’s left eye. Evloev threw a head kick and he continued to score with punches. After both men landed right hands, Evloev took Barzola down into back control. Barzola scrambled up against the cage and Evloev flurried with punches. Barzola landed a counter left hook, but Evloev continued to score with hard punches. He caught a kick and dragged Barzola down to the mat, then took Barzola’s back before the bell. 10-9 Evloev.

Round 2:
Barzola fought off one takedown attempt from Evloev by landing quick punches in close, but Evloev got him down on his second try. Barzola scrambled up and he landed an elbow to Evloev’s back as Evloev worked to take him down. The fighters separated and both men landed punches. Barzola was the aggressor and he landed lunging punches. Evloev eventually dragged him down to the mat, but Barzola stood against the cage and Evloev broke free after landing a left hand. Evloev countered Barzola’s punches with a one-two and Barzola slammed him down to the mat. He finished the round with elbows from the top. 10-9 Barzola.

Round 3:
Evloev landed quick one-twos in the final round and he reversed a takedown attempt. The fighters traded punches again and Evloev once again landed the better shots. He tried tot ake Barzola down, but Barzola wound up on top and the fight soon returned to the feet. Barzola landed a nice right hand and he backed Evloev with a lead left hook. Time was called after Evloev was kicked in the groin. Action resumed and Barzola landed quick punches and two body kicks. Evloev threw kicks in return and faked a takedown, but Barzola kept the pressure on with punches. He landed a body kick and a combination late in the close fight. 10-9 Barzola.

Winner: Movsar Evloev by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 12-0-0.

 

Sergei Pavlovich vs Maurice “The Crochet Boss” Greene

Round 1:
The fight began with an exchange of leg kicks and Pavlovich scored with a hard right hand. Greene continued to throw leg kicks and Pavlovich lunged in with punches. Greene scored with another leg kick, but Pavlovich hurt him with a counter jab and follow-up punches. Greene wilted against the cage as Pavlovich unloaded with punches. Greene eventually fell to the mat and Pavlovich landed a final barrage until the fight was stopped, much to the dismay of an upset Greene.

Winner: Sergei Pavlovich by TKO (Punches) at 2:11 of round one. He improves to 14-1-0.

 

Konklak “Loma Lookboonmee” Suphisara vs Aleksandra “Stitch” Albu

Round 1:
Suphisara landed a body kick right away and fought off Albu’s attempts to clinch. A hard elbow landed for Suphisara and Albu responded with punches as she clinched again. Time was called and Albu was warned for grabbing Suphisara’s top. Action resumed and Albu landed a counter elbow in close. Suphisara threw front kicks and followed with a right hand. The fighters traded punches and Albu again grabbed on to Suphisara’s clothing. Suphisara broke free with elbows and she continued to fight off takedown attempts.Both women landed knees to the body and Suphisara closed out the round with two more knees. 10-9 Suphisara.

Round 2:
Albu countered early strikes from Suphisara by pulling her to the mat and attempting a heel hook in round two. Suphisara escaped and stood up, and she landed leg kicks. The fighters clinched and Suphisara scored with knees to the body and elbows. She kept her distance and landed counterpunches and kicks until Albu clinched after landing a hard right hand. Both women landed flurries in close and Suphisara backed away. She tripped Albu to the mat and then backed off again. Both women landed punches and Suphisara kneed to the body. 10-9 Suphisara.

Round 3:
Following a brief clinch in round three, Suphisara landed a leg kick and Albu responded with a jumping switch kick to the face. Suphisara was unfazed and she flurried with punches. Albu clinched and Suphisara countered with a standing arm-triangle choke and more punches that backed Albu up. Suphisara landed two leg kicks and Albu answered with a step-in left hand following a brief clinch. Suphisara landed an elbow and a hard leg kick in the final 90 seconds, and she broke free of a clinch with a knee. Suphisara landed numerous knees to the body in the final minute, but Albu countered with a flying scissor takedown and she landed a handful of punches from the top before the bell. 10-9 Suphisara.

Winner: Konklak Suphisara by Split Decision (30-27, 30-27, 28-29) after three rounds. She improves to 4-1-0.

 

Raphael “Bebezão” Pessoa vs Jeff “Lights Out” Hughes

Round 1:
Both fighters landed leg kicks in the opening minute and an exchange of looping hooks followed. Pessoa scored with more leg kicks and he landed a spinning back kick to the body. Pessoa backed Hughes up against the cage and both men landed hard punches. Pessoa mixed in a knee to the body and ate a pair of right hooks from Hughes in return. Pessoa pressed forward with another combination late in the round as Hughes’s right eye swelled shut. 10-9 Pessoa.

Round 2:
Pessoa opened the second round with a one-two and he landed a pair of hard leg kicks soon after. Pessoa rushed at Hughes with punches and backed him up against the cage on two occasions. Hughes responded by running forward with punches of his own. A big right hand dropped Hughes, but he recovered quickly and got back to his feet. Pessoa landed another leg kick and the fighters traded punches before clinching. Pessoa countered a takedown attempt with an elbow and he shrugged Hughes off. Hughes got Pessoa down late in the round and landed short right hands. 10-9 Pessoa.

Round 3:
The pace slowed down in the final round, but Pessoa landed a spinning back kick to the body and a right hand that backed Hughes up. He did not follow up, however, and Hughes began to score with his own leg kicks. Punches were exchanged, but the action remained sparse in the middle of the round. Pessoa landed a lunging left hook and once again did not follow up. Hughes connected with a right hand in the final minute and Pessoa missed with a spinning wheel kick. Close final round. 10-9 Pessoa.
