Myles “Fury” Jury vs Mike “El Cucuy” de la Torre

Round 1:
Jury secured an early takedown after landing a body kick and he worked to take de la Torre’s back on the ground. He trapped de la Torre in a body triangle and looked to set up a rear-naked choke. Jury flattened de la Torre out and punished him with punches to the temples. De la Torre tried to roll over and sustained a cut from an elbow to his forehead. Jury flattened him out once more and landed unanswered punches until the bout was stopped.

Winner: Myles Jury by TKO (Elbows & Punches) at 3:30 of round one. He improves to 16-2-0.

 

Kamaru “The Nigerian Nightmare” Usman vs Sean “Tarzan” Strickland

Round 1:
Usman initiated a clinch and took Strickland’s back against the cage in the opening minute. He briefly tripped Strickland on two occasions and ultimately got him down for good on his third try. Usman postured up with punches from the top and he opened a cut near Strickland’s left eye. Little transpired in the final minute of the uneventful round. 10-9 Usman.

Round 2:
Usman targeted Strickland’s damaged left eye with jabs and right hooks in round two. Punches were exchanged and Usman floored Strickland with a right hand. Strickland momentarily returned to his feet, but Usman took him down and punched from the top. He avoided a Strickland leglock attempt and kept Strickland pinned down in a front headlock. Usman threw knees to the shoulder and body of Strickland until the fight returned to the feet. 10-8 Usman.

Round 3:
The final round began with Usman landing jabs and leg kicks. He took Strickland down against the base of the cage and battered him with hammerfists. Strickland eventually got back to his feet and Usman tagged him with a one-two. He kept Strickland backing up by landing punch-kick combos and targeting his midsection. Big haymakers were exchanged in the final ten seconds and Strickland landed his best punches of the fight, but time expired. 10-9 Usman.

Winner: Kamaru Usman by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-27) after three rounds. He improves to 10-1-0.

 

“Hurricane” Shane Burgos vs Charles “Boston Strong” Rosa

Round 1:
Both men landed power punches in the opening two minutes and Rosa repeatedly scored with hard leg kicks. Burgos stuffed a takedown attempt, but Rosa remained effective with kicks to the body and lead leg. Time was called after Burgos was kicked in the groin. Action resumed and Burgos stunned Rosa with a flurry of hooks and uppercuts. He caught a kick and tripped Rosa to the mat, but immediately allowed him to stand back up. Rosa threw more kicks, but Burgos tagged him with combinations. A right hook scored for Rosa late in the round. 10-9 Rosa, barely.

Round 2:
Rosa took Burgos’s back and worked for a takedown against the cage in the second round, but Burgos broke free and Rosa threw a spinning back kick. Looping right hooks were exchanged and Rosa followed with a left. More punches and leg kicks landed for Rosa, who ducked under Burgos’s counters. Burgos walked his opponent down with punch-kick combos, but Rosa cracked him with an overhand right and he continued to target Burgos’s lead leg with kicks. Burgos ate a spinning backfist, but he was unfazed and fired back with a knee as time expired. 10-9 Rosa.

Round 3:
Front kicks and right hands were exchanged early in round three and Burgos landed a right hand over the top. Rosa tried unsuccessfully for a takedown, but he landed some powerful right hooks on the feet. Burgos badly rocked him with a one-two and Rosa rolled backwards. He got back to his feet and was blasted by knees and punches, followed by a standing elbow. Burgos hurt Rosa again with punches and Rosa dropped to a knee. He stood and wilted against the cage as Burgos landed a final left hook, prompting referee Todd Anderson to stop the fight.

Winner: Shane Burgos by TKO (Punches) at 1:59 of round three. He improves to 9-0-0.

 

Patrick “Durkin” Cummins vs Jan Blachowicz

Round 1:
Blachowicz rocked Cummins with an uppercut and dropped him with a hook in the opening seconds, but Cummins survived an onslaught of punches on the ground and battled back to his feet. Blachowicz slipped and Cummins took top position before attacking with an Anaconda choke attempt. Blachowicz escaped and stood up, and he stunned Cummins with punches and knees. Both men landed power punches and Blachowicz wobbled Cummins with a lead left hook. More knees and another left hand landed for Blachowicz soon after. Cummins scored a crucial takedown, but Blachowicz countered his ground and pound with an armbar attempt. 10-8 Blachowicz.

Round 2:
The second round began with Blachowicz landing more hooks and uppercuts, and he followed with a body kick. Cummins clinched and he muscled Blachowicz down to the mat. Blachowicz countered with a an armbar, a triangle choke and finally a kimura attempt, but Cummins punched his way free. Blachowicz scrambled up to his feet and briefly tripped Cummins against the base of the cage. Back on the feet, Blachowicz slowed way down, but he landed a combination and two uppercuts. Cummins targeted the body and Blachowicz doubled over in exhaustion. Cummins stuffed a takedown before the bell. 10-9 Cummins by a slim margin.

Round 3:
Cummins blasted Blachowicz with a big combination early in the final round and he took him down soon after. Blachowicz attacked with an armbar, but Cummins pulled his arm free. The fighters stood and Cummins countered a flying switch knee with an overhand right. He peppered Blachowicz with knees while trapping him in a front headlock. Cummins finished the round with punches from top position in Blachowicz’s guard. 10-9 Cummins.

Winner: Patrick Cummins by Majority Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-28) after three rounds. He improves to 9-4-0.

 

Gregor “The Gift” Gillespie vs Andrew Holbrook

Round 1:
Gillespie rocked Holbrook right away with a combination and dropped him with a left hand. He followed with hammerfists and punches on the ground as Holbrook went limp and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Gregor Gillespie by KO (Punches) at 0:21 of round one. He improves to 9-0-0.

 

Desmond “The Predator” Green vs Josh Emmett

Round 1:
Emmett set up right hands with outside-leg kicks in the opening minute that were countered by a nice one-two from Green. Emmett scored with overhand rights, but time was called when Green was kicked in the groin. Action continued and Emmett continued to find success with overhand rights. Green responded with a knee, but Emmett flurried in close and he mixed in leg kicks. Green stunned Emmett with three counterpunches, but Emmett recovered quickly. Green landed another flurry late in the round and Emmett countered with a right hook. 10-9 Emmett.

Round 2:
Green mixed up his strikes well with one-twos and follow-up kicks in the second round. He kept Emmett at bay with jabs, but Emmett connected with a right hand. Green countered Emmett’s aggression with a short right hook and he fought off a takedown attempt. Green landed a kick to the upper body and a right hand that backed Emmett up. Green continued to pressure Emmett with punches and leg kicks that forced him to backpedal. Emmett missed with looping hooks before the bell. 10-9 Green.

Round 3:
Green took Emmett down early in the final round and avoided leg submissions as the fighters battled for position. The fight returned to the feet and Green scored with an uppercut. He sidestepped Emmett’s looping punches and landed a short right hand in close. Emmett avoided a takedown attempt and rushed in with a jumping knee attempt late in the round, but he came up well short. 10-9 Green.

Winner: Desmond Green by Split Decision (30-27, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. He improves to 20-5-0.

 

Katlyn “Blonde Fighter” Chookagian vs Irene Aldana

Round 1:
Chookagian landed a series of leg kicks in the opening minute, but Aldana answered back with a hard body kick and the fighters exchanged jabs. Aldana flurried with punches and Chookagian countered with a lead left hook. Aldana continued to kick to the body, but Chookagian was very effective with counterpunches. She fired off kicks of her own to Aldana’s upper body and head. Chookagian landed a punch-kick combo and Aldana responded with three leg kicks. Chookagian caught one and secured a very brief takedown late in the close round. 10-9 Chookagian.

Round 2:
Aldana pressed the action and landed a knee and a spinning backfist in round two. Chookagian walked forward with punches and both women kicked to the body. Aldana cracked Chookagian with a right hand and fought off a takedown. Chookagian mixed things up with punches and leg kicks, but Aldana countered with a nice combination. Chookagian knocked her off-balance with a right hand as Aldana threw a kick in close, but Aldana returned to her feet and the fighters traded strikes until the bell. Another close round. 10-9 Aldana, barely.

Round 3:
Chookagian backed Aldana up with jabs and two head kicks in the final round. Aldana circled on the outside and both women landed leg kicks. Aldana landed a hard left hook and she followed with a right. More leg kicks were exchanged and Chookagian snapped Aldana’s head back with a right cross. Aldana picked up the pace and she landed knees in close after shrugging off a takedown attempt. She chopped away at Chookagian’s lead leg with kicks and followed with right hands. One-twos and more right hands landed for Aldana before the bell. 10-9 Aldana due to the late rally.

Winner: Katlyn Chookagian by Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) after three rounds. She improves to 9-1-0.

 

Magomed “Chaborz” Bibulatov vs Jenel “The Demolition Man” Lausa

Round 1:
Lausa landed an early right hand and avoided Bibulatov’s kicks, but Bibulatov closed the distance and scored with knees in a clinch. A lunging one-two partially landed for Lausa and Bibulatov responded with a side kick to the body. He followed with a quick spinning backfist and the fighters traded leg kicks. Time was called after Lausa was kneed in the groin. Action resumed and Bibulatov landed a spinning back kick to the face. He rushed in with a right hook and finished the round with a knee to the chest that landed just after the bell. 10-9 Bibulatov.

Round 2:
Bibulatov opened the second round with two spinning back kicks to Lausa’s stomach. He landed a knee and an uppercut soon after, but Lausa stuffed a takedown attempt. Lausa was kicked in the groin once more and time was called again. Bibulatov was docked one point and the fight eventually continued. Bibulatov took Lausa down and briefly held mount. Lausa got back to full guard and Bibulatov peppered him with punches from the top. He landed more ground and pound until time expired. 9-9.

Round 3:
Bibulatov landed a spinning wheel kick and a one-two early in the final round, and he slammed Lausa down to the mat. From the top in side control, Bibulatov dropped elbows to Lausa’s face until Lausa scrambled back to full guard. Bibulatov used punches to set up a move to mount, but he could not maintain the position. Bibulatov spent the remaining 90 seconds of the fight landing punches and elbows from Lausa’s guard. 10-9 Bibulatov.

Winner: Magomed Bibulatov by Unanimous Decision (29-26, 29-26, 29-26) after three rounds. He improves to 14-0-0.
