Curtis “Razor” Blaydes vs Adam “The Prototype” Milstead

Round 1:
Blaydes dumped Milstead to the mat right away and slammed him down two more times in the ensuing seconds. He landed punches to the sides of Milstead’s head from back control. Milstead tried to stand and fell awkwardly on his knee. Blaydes continued to throw punches, including three that landed to the back of Milstead’s head. Milstead stood and was promptly dragged down once more. The fight returned to the feet and Blaydes powered Milstead down to the canvas. He threw punches to the temples until the end of the round. 10-8 Blaydes.

Round 2:
The second round began with another takedown from Blaydes, who threw knees to the thigh. Milstead stood and Blaydes slammed him down. Milstead immediately shouted out in pain while grabbing his knee and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Curtis Blaydes by TKO (Knee Injury) at 0:59 of round two. He improves to 7-1-0.

 

Chas “The Scrapper” Skelly vs Chris “Gritz” Gruetzemacher

Round 1:
Following an exchange of power punches, Skelly landed a hard knee in the opening minute and Gruetzemacher clinched with him against the cage. Skelly reversed position and landed elbows, then powered Gruetzemacher down to the mat. He tried to take Gruetzemacher’s back in search of a rear-naked choke, but Gruetzemacher rolled over and Skelly took full mount. Gruetzemacher got back to guard and scrambled up to his feet, but Skelly attacked with a guillotine choke and punches before the bell. 10-9 Skelly.

Round 2:
Both men landed combinations in round two and Skelly got the better of the exchange by cracking Gruetzemacher with a right hook. He took Gruetzemacher down into back control and Gruetzemacher countered with back elbow strikes. Skelly locked on a tight neck crank and Gruetzemacher tapped out.

Winner: Chas Skelly by Submission (Neck Crank) at 2:01 of round two. He improves to 17-2-0.

 

Ricardo Lucas Ramos vs Michinori Tanaka

Round 1:
Ramos walked his opponent down in round one and just missed with a spinning wheel kick. Tanaka countered with a right hook and threw Ramos to the mat, but Ramos quickly scrambled back up to his feet. He broke free from the clinch after landing a nice knee to the body. A huge right hand sent Tanaka crashing to the canvas and Ramos unloaded with punches on the ground. Tanaka briefly stood up and Ramos dropped him again. He rained down elbows on the mat until a wobbly Tanaka battled back to his feet once more. 10-9 Ramos, if not a 10-8.

Round 2:
The fighters traded single strikes in the second round until Tanaka clinched and worked for a takedown against the cage. Ramos countered with elbows and tripped Tanaka to the mat, then immediately spun into an armbar. Tanaka managed to free his arm and he worked from the top in Ramos’s half-guard. The fight returned to the feet and Tanaka attempted a sweep takedown, but Ramos reversed on the way down and both fighters stood up. Ramos landed a right hand and avoided Tanaka’s leg kicks late in the close round. 10-9 Ramos.

Round 3:
Ramos avoided a takedown attempt in round three and he countered Tanaka’s punches with a knee. Tanaka continued to dart in and out with three- and four-punch combos as Ramos slowed down. Tanaka circled to the side and was warned for not engaging by referee Herb Dean. After the restart, Tanaka threw occasional punches as the crowd booed. Tanaka took Ramos down and punched to the body, but Ramos countered with a guillotine choke until the final ten seconds when Tanaka freed himself and teed off with punches from the top. 10-9 Tanaka.

Winner: Ricardo Lucas Ramos by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. he improves to 10-1-0.

 

Tecia “The Tiny Tornado” Torres vs “Rowdy” Bec Rawlings

Round 1:
Torres opened the action with a variety of kicks and a quick combination in close. She backed Rawlings up with a flurry of punches and a body kick. More punches scored for Torres and she battered Rawlings’s lead leg with kicks. Rawlings landed occasional kicks and punches in return, but Torres remained the aggressor. The fighters clinched and Rawlings landed three knees before Torres could back away. Torres put together more punch-kick combos and she mixed in strikes to the body. She finished the round with a series of side kicks. 10-9 Torres.

Round 2:
Rawlings rushed at Torres right away in the second round and she managed to get Torres down to the mat very briefly. Torres rose to her knees against the cage and Rawlings dragged her down again. Torres stood and Rawlings tried for a standing rear-naked choke. Torres escaped by turning into the clinch and she landed short knees and right hands. Rawlings lost her balance while attempting a throw and Torres took her back on the ground. She sunk in both hooks and worked for rear-naked chokes while peppering Rawlings with punches and hammerfists. The round ended with a Torres armbar attempt. 10-9 Torres.

Round 3:
The final round began with Torres landing one-two combinations as Rawlings pressed forward. Both women landed punches and Torres knocked Rawlings off-balance with a right hand and a chopping leg kick. Rawlings regained her footing, but Torres continued to punish her lead leg with kicks. Rawlings eventually secured a clinch against the cage, but Torres reversed position and Rawlings slipped while throwing a knee. Torres landed punches on the way up and dragged Rawlings down into back control. She attacked with an armbar attempt and kicked Rawlings off, then stood and flurried until the bell. 10-9 Torres.

Winner: Tecia Torres by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) after three rounds. She improves to 8-1-0.

 

Undercard Fights:

– Niko “The Hybrid” Price defeated Alex “The Great White” Morono by KO (Punch) at 5:00 of round two. He improves to 10-0-0 with the win.

– Khalil “The War Horse” Rountree defeated Daniel “The Werewolf of Texas” Jolly by KO (Knee) at 0:52 of round one. He improves to 5-2-0 with the win.
