Mio Tsumura Destroys Renju Date At Shoot Boxing 2016: Act 42016 Shoot Boxing Girls S-Cup Champion Mio Tsumura cruised to a quick and emphatic stoppage victory in her return to action tonight at Shoot Boxing 2016: Act.4 in Tokyo, Japan. Tsumura steamrolled an overmatched Renju Date en route to a commanding TKO triumph in just 36 seconds.

Tsumura, who captured this year’s Girls S-Cup title in July, swarmed on her opponent with non-stop offence right from the opening bell. She scored two quick knockdowns, then dropped Renju for a final time with a powerful right hook that finished the fight and earned Tsumura an impressive win.

Tsumura (24-2-0 SB) countered an early rush from Renju by dropping her with a series of punches in the opening seconds of the fight. Renju regained her footing and passed a standing eight count, but she was immediately sent to the canvas again by a kick from Tsumura. Once again, the referee gave Renju a standing count before allowing the bout to continue on. Tsumura pressed forward and she landed a devastating right hand that floored Renju and finished the fight.

The victory was swift and easy for Tsumura, who has now won 11 straight fights. She followed up on her all-Japan Girls S-Cup victory in 2015 by winning the 2016 Girls S-Cup world title and remains one of the most popular stars on the Shoot Boxing roster.

Winner: Mio Tsumura by TKO (Punch) at 0:36 of round one. She improves her shoot boxing record to 24-2-0.
