Milana Dudieva Submits Daria Chibisova At ProFC 53 In RussiaAfter dropping both of her fights in 2013, Russian standout Milana Dudieva continued her climb back towards bantamweight contendership with her second victory of the year on Sunday night at ProFC 53 in Rostov-on-Don, Russia. Dudieva submitted 19-year-old newcomer Daria Chibisova.

Dudieva appeared to be one win away from securing a UFC contract before losses to Jéssica “Bate Estaca” Andrade and Pannie “Banzai” Kianzad halted her momentum. On Sunday, Dudieva took the fight with Chibisova to the mat and she used ground and pound to set up a fight-ending heel hook.

Dudieva (10-3-0) stayed on the outside as Chibisova (0-1-0) pressed forward with jabs and overhand rights early in round one. Dudieva landed right hooks and she avoided Chibisova’s head kick attempts. She took Chibisova down soon after, but Chibisova countered with an armbar from her back. Dudieva slammed her way free of the hold and attacked with hammerfists from the top. She landed a series of hard right hands and dropped down for a leglock. Chibisova tried to defend, but Dudieva secured a heel hook and Chibisova immediately tapped out while in great pain.

Prior to her 2013 losses to Andrade and Kianzad, Dudieva had won eight straight fights and she totalled notable victories over Sheila “The German Tank” Gaff and Danielle “The Honey Badger” West during that time. Dudieva has finished her opponents in nine of ten career wins and all nine stoppage victories have come inside the first round.

Winner: Milana Dudieva by Submission (Heel Hook) at 3:34 of round one. She improves to 10-3-0.
