Anthony “The Hippo” Perosh vs Vinny “Pezao” Magalhaes

Round 1:
Perosh landed a short right hook that hurt Magalhaes right away. Magalhaes tried to pull half-guard as he fell to the mat, but Perosh unloaded with more punches and hammerfists as referee Mario Yamasaki looked on. Perosh continued to strike until Magalhaes was unconscious and the brief bout was stopped.

Winner: Anthony Perosh by KO (Punches) at 0:14 of round one. He improves to 14-7-0.

 

Amanda “The Lioness” Nunes vs Sheila “The German Tank” Gaff

Round 1:
Both fighters landed big punches right away and Nunes appeared to be stunned by a hook. She dropped down for a takedown and Gaff hopped on her back in search of a rear-naked choke. A scramble followed and the fight returned to the feet. Nunes took Gaff down and passed to side control. She landed knees to the body and short elbows that set up a move to mount. Gaff powered her way up and Nunes took her back down again. Nunes landed more hard punches and elbows from Gaff’s guard and the fight was stopped.

Winner: Amanda Nunes by TKO (Punches & Elbows) at 2:08 of round one. She improves to 8-3-0.

 

Sergio “The Panther” Moraes vs Neil Magny

Round 1:
Moraes countered a right hand from Magny with two looping hooks in round one. Magny put together a combination and finished with a leg kick. Moraes clinched and tripped Magny to the mat. He passed to side control and then to mount. Moraes locked on a triangle choke from the bottom and blasted Magny with elbows. He maintained the choke and rolled back into mount for the impressive tapout win.

Winner: Sergio Moraes by Submission (Triangle Choke) at 3:13 of round one. He improves to 8-2-0.

 

Ian “Uncle Creepy” McCall vs Iliarde Santos

Round 1:
McCall landed two quick combinations to the body and head in round one and he followed with a kick to the chest. More kicks scored for McCall and he backed Santos up with two hard left hooks. Santos pulled half-guard and McCall rained down hard shots from the top. He landed a knee as Santos stood. Santos connected with two right hooks and McCall answered with a stiff jab and a head kick. McCall avoided a spinning backfist but ate an overhand right. The fighters traded punches and McCall stuffed a takedown. 10-9 McCall.

Round 2:
McCall scored with counter left hooks from a distance in round two as Santos pressed forward. McCall threw kicks to the head and lead leg of Santos and followed with a combination in close. More leg kicks landed for McCall and Santos responded with a body kick, a right hand and a big knee. McCall continued to kick at Santos’s left leg until Santos took him down. McCall elbowed from the bottom and stood up. An uppercut landed for McCall just as the bell sounded. Close round. 10-9 McCall.

Round 3:
Santos connected with an overhand right in the final round and McCall fired back with a body kick and a right cross. He took Santos’s back and got him down to a knee, but Santos stood and broke free of the clinch. He landed a combination and backed McCall up with a lunging right. Another right hand landed for Santos and he took McCall down against the fence. McCall stood and Santos landed a body kick. Counter left hooks and leg kicks landed for McCall. He landed more combinations and hooks in the final minute. McCall was kneed in the groin as time expired. 10-9 McCall by a slim margin.

Winner: Ian McCall by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 12-4-1.

 

Rani Yahya vs Josh “The Gentleman” Clopton

Round 1:
Yahya opened the fight with a nice combination and he followed with two head kicks attempts. Yahya tried for a takedown and he pulled guard for a heel hook. He used the heel hook to sweep into top position. Yahya landed punches from Clopton’s half-guard and he mixed in short elbows. Yahya briefly got to mount and returned to half-guard. He secured mount a second time and looked to set up an arm-triangle choke. 10-9 Yahya. Close to a 10-8.

Round 2:
Both fighters landed left hooks early in round two and Yahya drove in for a takedown. He got Clopton down and pinned his left arm behind his back. Yahya landed punches and moved to mount. He continued to strike from the top and secured back control momentarily. Clopton rolled back over and gave up mount again. Yahya stayed on top until the bell. 10-8 Yahya.

Round 3:
Clopton reversed a takedown and wound up in Yahya’s guard early in the final round. Clopton landed short strikes from the top until the fighters stood. A nice knee scored for Clopton and he sprawled out to defend against a takedown. Clopton struck with his right hand and Yahya tried to pull guard. Back on the feet, Yahya landed a solid right hand and he took Clopton down. Clopton held on and landed short elbows from the bottom. Close final round. 10-9 Clopton.

Winner: Rani Yahya by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 19-7-0.

 

Francimar “Bodão” Barroso vs Ednaldo “Lula Molusco” Oliveira

Round 1:
Barroso tried for takedowns early in the fight and Oliveira defended well. He landed punches from a distance, but Barroso scored with a leg kick and a lead left hook. Barroso fired off another leg kick and a left hand. Oliveira began to taunt and Barroso landed more kicks as the round progressed. Oliveira finally connected with a one-two shortly before the bell. 10-9 Barroso.

Round 2:
Barroso opened round two with a hard leg kick, but he ate a right cross in return. Oliveira took Barroso down and landed some big punches from the top. He stood and allowed Barroso to follow. Oliveira landed an uppercut and Barroso scored a takedown. Oliveira got back to his feet and reversed a clinch against the fence. The fighters were separated and Barroso landed a pair of overhand rights. An uppercut, left hook combo followed for Barroso. He took Oliveira down and landed right hands and knees as Oliveira stood. 10-9 Barroso due to the late rally.

Round 3:
Barroso scored a very brief takedown in the final round, but Oliveira returned to his feet and held Barroso against the cage. Barroso reversed and tried to take Oliveira down again. He got Oliveira down and struck from the top. Oliveira stood and ate a knee to the face. The fighters were separated and Barroso landed a left hook. The fight ended in a clinch. 10-9 Barroso.

Winner: Francimar Barroso by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) after three rounds. He improves to 16-3-0.

 

Viscardi Andrade vs Bristol Marunde

Round 1:
Andrade landed a grazing head kick and a pair of counter right hooks early in the fight. He dropped Marunde with a step-in left-right combo and landed more punches on the mat as Marunde tried for a takedown. Marunde stood and Andrade dropped him again with a left hook. Andrade continued to strike his dazed opponent until the bout was stopped.

Winner: Viscardi Andrade by TKO (Punches) at 1:36 of round one. He improves to 17-5-0.
