Munah Holland Knocks Out Marianna Kheyfets At Bellator 63Team Tiger Schulmann prospect Munah Holland put her boxing skills to good use tonight at Bellator Fighting Championships 63 in Uncasville, Connecticut. Holland knocked out the previously unbeaten Marianna “The Crushen Russian” Kheyfets with a right hook near the end of round two.

The fighters engaged in a back-and-forth first round that saw both women land some decent strikes on the feet. Kheyfets looked to steal the round with a late takedown, but the second stanza was all Holland, who dropped Kheyfets three times and finished her off with 15 seconds remaining.

Holland (4-1-0) opened the fight with a right hook and a body kick, and Kheyfets (5-1-0) replied with a combo of her own. Kheyfets kept her distance and kicked at Holland’s legs, but her punches came up short. Holland remained aggressive with quick flurries and a nice right hook, but Kheyfets countered with one-twos as she circled away. Holland landed a knee and a stiff jab after a brief clinch against the cage. She sent Kheyfets off-balance with a right hook, but Kheyfets took Holland down in the final minute. Both women landed punches on the ground, but Holland appeared to be more active.

Holland set the tone for round two right away with a left hook seconds in. Both women landed body kicks and Kheyfets followed with a combination. Holland dropped her with a big right hook and dove in with punches, but Kheyfets recovered and defended well. The fighters stood and traded power punches. Kheyfets appeared to have regained her footing and she landed a one-two combo. Holland shrugged off a clinch attempt and floored Kheyfets again with punches. Once more, Kheyfets did well to defend on the ground. Holland stood and Kheyfets followed.

As the final minute wound down in round two, Holland was clearly the aggressor and she scored with two right hands. Seconds later, a huge counter right hook sent Kheyfets crashing to the mat and referee Todd Anderson stepped in to rescue the unconscious fighter. Holland picks up the biggest victory of her young MMA career with the impressive win, while Kheyfets tastes defeat for the first time as a pro.

Winner: Munah Holland by KO (Punch) at 4:45 of round two. She improves to 4-1-0.

  1. And I ******* missed it 🙁
Kheyfets needs to adapt her style to match her opponent.
It finally bit her in the tush.

  2. did someone record it

  3. I can pretty much guarantee that video of either the fight or at least of the knockout will be posted shortly. There’s no way that Bellator won’t include the KO in their Bellator 63 Highlights video.
